Went here kind of late in the evening with my very tired toddler because we just needed to eat before heading back to the hotel. He was grumpy and i had to let him walk around a bit while waiting for our food to avoid a tantrum. Our waitress Chrissy made us feel so welcome and special, waving up to my son when we climbed the stairs and looked down over the railing at her and calling him by name. She even let us know when our food had come instead of just leaving it at our table quietly while we were away from it as Ive had other servers do elsewhere sometimes. She was understanding when he made a mess and encouraging when he was eating his food. She even listened to me rant about some personal drama with grace. On my way out she gave me two to go cups of soda because she knew i didnt have time to get any. This small kind gesture helped me destress immensely. 100% excellent service. As for food we had the new turkey dinner and it was very tasty. I requested the broccoli to be cooked a little bit extra so the baby could eat it easily and it was perfect. I loved that it came with lingonberries, the baby loved them. As far as atmosphere this has to be one of the nicest ihops ever. Great stone walls and high ceilings. I loved the large round table through the archway upstairs. Would definitley recommend. Not just your average chain diner.

While the color scheme and the menu clearly mark this place as an IHOP, the pricing and service need a thorough review. Our first time here had us a bit concerned at the cost, particularly since it is a breakfast joint. Due to its location in Orange County and also directly across from the main entrance to John Wayne Airport (SNA), the pricing is significantly higher. Less than a week before, we dined at an IHOP in Phoenix and the cost was significantly less. For instance, the beef tips and eggs in Phoenix were just under $10.00, but at this location, the same meal was just under $13.00. Service tends to be spotty, especially when the place isnt busy. Staff stand around in the drink station and check their phones or chat, while guests have to wave them down for service. And, the Wifi is dismal. You have to continually ask the staff to reboot the router. My guess is this is a "captive audience" location, so the lack of normal pricing, the poor service and the bad Wi-Fi that never gets fixed is par for the course. Best to move on to another location.

Not good. I enjoy ihop from time to time but this experience was not good. First the, server tells us they have no specials menus. (Currently its the double dipped french toast) Doesnt explain that or describe them to us when we were seated, I had to ask. I always order whatever it is since its usually good and good value for my money. This time, not good. I told my son, "Maybe this is why they dont have the menus?" If that was the case, then a good server would tell us, people have not liked them and I recommend these other menu items. I would appreciate that AND it would reflect in my tip. Then I get the bill and its twice as much as usual? SO DISAPPOINTED! Felt scammed and it reflected in my tip! Along with me leaving this review. STAY AWAY!!!! FIND COCOS or Dennys anywhere --- stay away.... So sad, I truly enjoy ihop! This location is NOT GOOD. And it was my sons birthday, went there out of convenience because we both had work in the area.

Eating at IHOP brings back so many great memories that I try to drop in every once in awhile. This particular location is great for travelers using the John Wayne airport to grab a bite to eat right before a flight or after landing. The location has plenty of parking and the service is usually very good. The interior can use a bit of a make over but it still has that IHOP charm. As for the food you cant go wrong with too many choices and they have something for everyone. If you havent had the chocolate chip pancakes yet try it as that is my long standing personal favorite.

This location needs improvement. When you first walk into the facility, there is a strong unpleasant smell. I am not sure if it is from the carpet or from something else. The interior of the restaurant is obviously old and has not been remodeled for some time, which would not be so bad if it were not for the smell that combines with the old look very badly. The prices are higher here because it is across the street from John Wayne Airport Orange County (the only advantage it has), so one would think the facility would be better maintained.

We went to this IHOP on a Saturday after noon around 1.30 or so. We were seatly quickly and then the server took 10 to 15 minute to arrive. She served our drinks without spoon, sugar or straws. We have to ask of everything from napkins to sugar to any basic things that you expect when you are seated. Then we ordered. The food took about 20 minutes or more to arrive and the server did not notify us that it will be a little late. The server was making sure that she did not pass our table so that we dont "Bother !" her

Ihop is what I call I hope ....located right outside John Wayne airport it was the only place offering me some respite for food at night. Tried the turkey with fixings , fruit crepe and pancakes , the fruit crepe was my fav follows by the pancakes . The turkey on Thanksgiving was a joke. The only positive thing about IHOP is it runs 24x7 and is an answer to any hunger pangs that might engulf you at odd hours . Staff is courteous and foods decent

This restaurant is my daughters favorite place to eat breakfast, she loves the velvet pancakes, and their bacon, we always have a good experience here but today it exceeded our expectations. Juan the manager was very polite and attentive, he checked on us after our food was delivered; which to me is very important. He was very professional, and he always had a great smile. I really recommend this place

We dropped into IHOP last week for a work lunch and it was just so much fun! Its been awhile since Ive been to one and it just to me way back to some good memories. I had the blueberry pancakes and they are better then I remember. Overall the food was good and it was served quickly and the prices are good. I wouldnt come regularly but it has made me want to eat here a little lite often than before.

There was only one waiter and we hadnt sat down and was rushing us to order drinks couldnt finish a sentence without her rushing off trying to still take our order while walking away. I guess it wasnt really her fault since there were a lot of people arriving but they should have more staff. Also $3 for a small hot chocolate non refillable was expensive but pankcakes were good.

The main reason we came was for the cinastacks promotion until April 7th. This location was apparently not participating in this event and the server had no idea what we were talking about. After asking again we were later told this location replaced cinastacks with some kind of cinnamon roll. They comped a meal which was nice of them. But it was a rather disappointing event.
