Came here with a friend to hang out and have breakfast since Im always craving breakfast. Wait was short which isnt usually the case. These places are always packed. We got a seat near the window with about a 100 cops. Woohoo. Waiter was very attentive at first. Got us coffees and waters and kept coming back to take our orders but we werent ready yet and when we were ready, he was nowhere to be found. We finally got the order in and food was quick to arrive. An almond cinnamon french toast for me and an apple pancake thing for him. My french toast was just OK. I ran out of coffee pretty quickly but there was no refill in sight. Our food got served up but no one came back to see how we were doing until I spotted another waitress to get some assistance and then I got my coffee but my meal was mostly over by this point. Meal was OK, service was subpar - making this an average experience. Could be better all the way around.

We went to this restaurant to see how good this place was, expecting to come next week with a party of 20 for our wedding brunch. We were a party of 6, 2 showed up late. The late arrivers were served almost immediately. We had to ask for servicewear. We were told our order was late due to ordering a dutch baby, even though the other 3 had eggs and sausage meals. When the eggs did arrive, they were dried out due to waiting on the counter for the dutch baby. When the last meal came, banana pancakes, they did not taste like bananas. We were told the batters got mixed up. It felt like our order had been lost, we were forgotten, and our server was in a bad mood. The manager had to come to our table three times to explain what was going on. In the end, our check had a misitem and automaticallu included tip. Now i understand why the previous party at our table only left a $5 tip on a $60 bill.

I went to the Chapman location today, but I will never go to that location again. The waitress accidentally delivered 3 extra pancakes to our table. We did not even notice, until (the manager???) came up to us and said, these are extra and they dont belong to you. Not having realized it, we said "okay??" and he took them away. He made the waitress feel really stupid for accidentally giving us extra. She said..."why would he take them away, he cant use them again anyway?" Well, I watched him and I could see that he took them to the back where they cook the food (so he is not obvious), but brought them right back out to the table next to us. Isnt that so gross...they were on our table first? Luckily we did not touch them, but we could have...he would have never known. Anyway, it was super gross and he was very rude, so we will stick with another location instead.

I was finally able to try a Dutch Baby which is oven baked and served with powdered sugar, lemon wedges to squeeze on the pancake, and butter. This pancake is unique because it is baked and forms a crater. I had to eat it quick before it starts to deflate. It kept its shape for a good while as I took pictures of it.I took a slice out of the Dutch Baby and the cake was more moist than I expected compared to the American pancake. It consists of just flour, eggs, and milk. Simple. I was happy I was able to finally experience eating a Dutch Baby. The fiancé ordered the Egg Omelet which is a generous portion. Just look at the size! This is a popular dish as it’s impressive and delicious and full of protein that’s for sure.

The breakfast I had was amazing, the service even better. The staff put at ease, made me feel welcome. This breakfast is the 1st meal I wanted after a 13 week hospital stay. I am on a gluten-free diet. I searched for this restaurant online. I ordered gluten-free banana walnut pancakes. The server bought me five. Along with this hickory smoke medium cut bacon, three over easy eggs. There was no need to ask the staff to bring me anything. That table was properly stocked. I suggest you take the trip to the org pancake House. You will agree. Michael S

Very Nice Breakfast Restraunt. I went in there for the first time and they were very friendly. They greeted me as soon as i walked in and my waitress was even better. I love when my soda is never empty. Now the food, It was not what i expected but better. I have been to a few pancake houses and this one by far was one of the most authentic breakfast restaurant i have been too. Everything was prepared perfectly. I have no complaint at all about this restaurant. Great Service, Great Food. Thanks for the experience!

This delicious pancake house is hard to find...their sign on the street is not huge. Its in a strip mall on the corner of Chapman and Prospect. After eating a lovely breakfast, I realized they dont really need much advertising. They were VERY BUSY on a Thursday morning. The omelets are HUGE (5 eggs!). It was very tasty and the pancakes were delish. Next time Ill split a meal tho! Service was EXCELLENT, coffee perfect. Not Dennys prices, the omelet was around $11. Looking forward to going back!

Hostess was oblivious and after stating the wait time was 25min it ended up being an hour. Then waitress follows us in the bathroom and begins violently blowing her nose. I was begining to wonder if we were on an episode of punked. Food was okay but the Lincoln location was by far better in every way. Do not go to this location. It was a huge letdown. It definitely lowers the standard. I left disappointed, upset, and grossed out.

Though it was delicious, the pancakes shrunk from before by about 40%. I would not say that this was a fairly priced establishment either, prepare to drop about $45 to $55 for a family of 3 for a simple breakfast!. If you came hungry, you will not leave happy. Oh, and make you wait for some time (20 to 25 mins.) then hustle you out when youre almost done.

The food is great. All of it! And I have sampled all different kinds of menu items. But the warm family atmosphere is, if possible, even better! This is THE premier breakfast spot in the O.C. I forgot something. The menu is so varied, you can find some truly healthy, low sugar alternatives. Share an omelet! Itseems baked and resembles a souffle.

Waited almost 30 minutes for breakfast. Told omelet s take 20 to 30 minutes on weekend. Everyone around us was served their food and we were seated 10 minutes before them. Will not return m the manager handled it poorly. He won the battle and lost the war. We will not come back. Too many other restaurants that do a better job.

Great food! Cant pass up the dutch baby and they also have an omelet called "Jims Special" that you HAVE to try! They dont have it at the one in Aliso Viejo. I think the prices are a little cheaper at this one too. This is one of our all time favorite breakfast restaurants! They actually have pretty decent coffee too!
