I have been going to Kiku for over 20 years. This is the best Sushi Place ever. Sho is fantastic. As many people have said the portions are massive and the fish is fresh and AAA+ grade. The tuna is out of this world. Yes the Sushi is on the pricy side and the menu does not have prices on it but after going few times you will figure it out and know the prices. It is part of the culture. You need to be patient and wait your turn to be served. If you are looking for a drive thru Sushi, this is not your place. Yes most people are regulars and each one of us have our own chair and our own special things. Noting wrong with that. You just have to join the family. I highly recommend it. Yes some of us dont want to share this little secret place to keep it to ourself but that is not fair for everyone in Orange County. Come hungry and fill up on Uncle Shos Rolls. KIKU is probably the best sushi Ive ever had. Honestly, I went a few weeks ago, and ordered 4 or 5 different rolls (California, extra crunch rolls, philly rolls, their special giant rolls), and they were all amazing. The portions were massive for a sushi place, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very relaxed, and you can tell that many people there are "regulars". Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The reason Im docking this 1 star, as others have mentioned, is that there isnt any price listings on their menu. Two of us ended up paying close to $100 for our meal, and while it was all wonderful, if I had known ahead of time, I wouldve modified my order. PLEASE, KIKU, add prices to your menu. Thats just a common courtesy to your customers. Otherwise, this place is great.

perfectly fresh gorgeous fish always! theyre willing to accommodate for my gluten-free/ celiac challenges. you have to try their sake nut drink it is to die for. they take out the juice from a fresh young coconut and mix it with sake, put it back in the coconut add a straw YUM. when you finish your drink they cracked the coconut give you a spoon and you get to enjoy the beautiful fresh custard of a young coconut.

The Sushi is the freshest Ive ever tasted and Dai and Sho really know what to do with it...The food is very good and the atmosphere makes you feel at home... I wish I had two more hands so I could give this place four thumbs up!
