When I started going to El Farolito, I thought it was Healdsburgs best kept secret - incredible entrees, and the best margarita north of the border. Over the past few years, the margarita has been down-sized twice, each time to half of its previous size and the quality has also declined radically, although the price has remained the same. And for a $9 house margarita, its reasonable to expect more - quantity and quality. No longer a blend of tequila/citrus with fresh orange, it tastes like cheap tequila and mix. The once homemade chips now taste store-bought and the food is mediocre and inconsistent. I urge you to avoid El Farolito, or, if you must go, appeal to the management to restore it to its previous taste and quality.

Man, this place used to be IT. Now it is sadly not. Not if you are going for food, anyway. If you are going for margs and chips and salsa, heck yes, go for it. Best margaritas in town (though at a price). BEST chips and salsa in town (on the house if you are having food or drink). The food used to be great and perfectly priced. Now it is more expensive for smaller portions (taking home leftovers is a real thing, people!) and changes to ingredients have made the dishes I used to love so much not so great. Sigh. Guess Ill just order more margaritas!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE♥♥ We started going there almost one year ago, and every Saturday night since then we have had our dinner there! We absolutely love the staff, Lizbeth, Jesellia, Marisol, Edeberto, Pedro, Ted, and everyone else whos name I cannot recall, has been the best! We have come to feel so special everytime we walk through the doors. The food is excellent, fresh, hot, and so fast. Never once have we been disappointed, except with some really rude customers. The mole enchiladas were delicious and the prawns picante burrito had plenty of heat but in the best possible way. The food came out astonishingly fast given how busy the restaurant was. The three guys in the kitchen were working at top speed. The cocktails were pretty tasty although i could have done with something a little stronger. The house made lime juice had plenty of punch to cut through the spicy, creamy sauces nicely. All in all, a nice addition to the list of restaurants on/near Healdsburg plaza.

Excellent food. Definitely authentic. Great margaritas, the best guacamole, salsa and mole sauce. Next time we are in Healdsburg we will dine here again. The dishes were reasonably priced and we loved the ambiance. We felt like we stepped into a restaurant in an old Mexico Town. The wait staff was wonderful and our service was quick. A must for a great Mexican food experience.

Everything that Ive had from their menu has been excellent and more specifically... The mole is awesome. I have enjoyed the ceviche and the chips and salsa are great, I also like to get a breakfast burrito con chorizo and a bottle coca cola every now and then. Everybody in Healdsburg should try El Farolito!

GREAT FOOD! I always come here and get something new, the menu is great and they use really good ingredients. The best tequila selection in town for sure! The staff is very nice and always smiling, they are ready to help you decide on your food if needed.

Walked in at 10:05 on a Friday Night and the Ladies said they were closed! I said its not 10:30 yet and they looked at me like I said something wrong and walked away from me!! Yup Great Service people!! What a Joke! And I live in Healdsburg...

We love sitting at the bar and talking with Chewy the bartender extraodinare. Best Margaritas in Sonoma County. Food is authentic Mexican. The Fajita platter is great with a nice cold beer as well.

First time in town. Had a Barbacoa (slow cooked beef) that was really well done and tasty. They also made us fried eggs on the side even though its not on the menu. Great and friendly service.
