Worst customer service ever!!!! On my mother-in-laws birthday we went to celebrate there. We regret that decision since we came in the door. We got there around 8:15, they closed at 9:30. As we came in the door, we asked if we could seat by the entrance, they say no. My daughter want to seat there, so I asked if we seat there please. They say no again. I was about to get out of there, but unfortunately it was the last Asian food open at that time. So we seat and want to other different kind of food but the guy said we cant cook that anymore, sorry. Long story short. We end up upset with the kind of customer service, in top of that they charge the tip tip, didnt even bother to bring the ticket. Never going back, even if it is the last place open in Half Moon bay!!!

1 review 1.0 star rating 7/11/2017 Its been one of our favorite restaurants. However, today I noticed my bill was already included 15% gratuity with no explanation what so ever and tax even added to the total amount. their credit card slip is still appeared asking tip(what they said was "ignore it" as we asked about what they cheated on the bill). I dont know if they can do it as I never experienced such a wrongful practice. Please watch out your bill!. I dont know how much I have been over charged and paid the bill since Ive been their quite a few times. I would never go this place again no matter how good their foods are, deserves zero star!

Ordered take out a few weeks back. Some of the dishes seemed undercooked. The beef in the beef & broccoli was rubbery and chow mien noodles didnt wasnt the greatest. Maybe the food wasnt great since we ordered right when they were opening for dinner, but Id give it a second chance before completely writing them off.

They added the tips in the bill without telling us, so we pay the tips twice. I found that when we already left, and I thought maybe it is just a mistake on calculation. When I read the reviews in yelp, I found someone else also said that they did add tips in the bill themselves without asking. Very bad impression.

When you have to throw out the takeout well before finishing because the orange chicken tastes like orange pledge, the mango chicken has slimy mushrooms, and the fried rice tasted like plain white rice with bad eggs...youve eaten at China House! We will not be returning.

Pleasant surprise! Amazing wonton soup and pork buns (which other shops would have called shialong baos). While many restaurants at HMB are suffering from low number of tourists, China House was flocking with locals. Everything is made fresh in house.

Wow, we actually have GOOD Chinese Food in Half Moon Bay! Id been wishing for this for years. Our family goes about once a month. Our favorite is the Orange Chicken, but we do push ourselves to try a variety, and are always happy with the results.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken but they gave me some spicy chicken or pork with shrip dish. Soi mai was listed under appetizer but it was served last and it was bad and doesnt look like a soi mai

No longer need to head over the hill. Has Shanai Port Dumplings. Ask for "Home Made" Noddles when asking for noodle dishes.
