Not a soup guy but my wife and daughter really enjoyed the Egg Flower Soup to the point my wife said it was some of the best she has ever had. For me the Mongolian Beef was great with good flavor, but the surprise was that the meat itself was cut thick with a great texture vs the normal thin cut at other places and we all very much enjoyed that with the great texture. The surprise was the Onion Pancake though, it looked like it would be oily and over fried, but they were light and just the right amount of crisp not to mention delicious. The General Tsos Chicken was tasty but not a standout like the beef, soup, and pancake. The staff was very friendly as well. The interior itself could use some more work so it looks more finished and inviting. In any case we are super happy to have this place close by and will go back again.

Recieved a flyer on my door so I decided to grab some take out on a rainy day. It was EXCELLENT. Came back again today with a coupon and was really surprised on how wonderful their servers are. I ordered to-go, but was brought out tea and free soup while I waited. Apparantly they have a new chef and have been gaining popularity as of late. Ignore the shady exterior (it is Mountlake Terrace after all), food high quality, fresh, fast and cheap. Plus they do free eggrolls with take out orders over $30 bucks. Check them out, you wont be dissapointed!

Great experience. Food was 5 star quality as well as the service. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the interior still looks unfinished. Empty fish tank, drink cooler wasnt plugged in, etc. It could be that they arent finished redecorating from the previous owners, but it was still a very enjoyable experience for my first time eating there, and we are picky about our Chinese food. Glad its only 2 blocks from my house. Mountlake Terrace needed this.

The food is ok. The sweet and sour was bland. The chicken chow mein was good. The hot and sour soup has a bit of heat to it. The Ma Po Tofu is a spicy soup, which Ive never seen before. The prices are good and you get a decent portion. However, most recently the table was dirty and when asked to have it wiped down, it never was. Weve been here a few times and have not yet been impressed or had our tastebuds dance in delight.

Really pleased with the food and service! Great black bean chicken and dried string beans (just a little too much oil). One star off because they really needed to step up the decorating. Very plain, and still just a paper printed sign after three months. Nevertheless well be back because the food is great.

I really enjoyed the Chow Mein and the Crispy Chicken! I dont think Ive ever had better Chow Mein. The fried rice was pretty bland and dry, so I had to add a lot of soy sauce. Mongolian beef was decent, but a little too much onion and something else. Overall satisfied. Will definitely be back.

I love this Chinese restaurant. The weekday waitress is the best very friendly. They have $4.59 lunch specials, I love the Mongolian Beef here. My sister-in-law likes the lemon chicken on the dinner menu. The inside needs a little updating but I love the food here it is a hidden gem.

Ive been going here for 10+ years and wouldve given them 5 stars. But, the new management has changed recipes and it just isnt the same anymore. Not worth the quality and quantity. Disappointment to see this place go downhill with the new management.

Everything Ive gotten there, has been just about the best Ive had, certainly the best in many years. The wonton, egg flour, and sweet and sour soups are all amazing. The portions are quite generous, and the owner is just as much so.

Previously Yen Ching, this has become one of my go to places for Chinese food. The owner is very friendly and the food is great at a low price. I go here about once a week and Im always pleased with the food.

Great food although I must admit I bring in a spice mix of garlic, clove, powdered bullion and add peppers and soy from the table. I like FLAVOR and this place is more mild but super fresh.

Went tonight. Had house chow mein, honey walnut prawns and crab rangoon. Was great quality, flavor and generous portions. Pleasant and attentive staff. Will be back soon to try more dishes.
