I was honestly impressed. D. and I came here because I had a half marathon the following day and I felt like I should carb up. So no alcohol, nothing too sweet. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which was perfect for what I wanted to accomplish while being tasty. The server was friendly and the table and utensils clean. There were quite a few small children, because they are tolerated by the staff better here than at your more authentic restaurants. D. had the chicken parm. A little dry but the huge salad composed of something other than shredded iceberg and a sliver or two of radicchio made up for it. More than enough food for both of us. So why not 4-5 stars? Its a corporate chain. Their attitudes toward food is unhealthy and inhumane; they care more for their stock performance than for the health and / or welfare of their customers. Our table, seats and eating / drink ware were clean but the carpet nearby showed evidence of the aforementioned rug rats. And then there was the tablet mounted to the table that offered games and other items that could be bought or something; I wasnt interested and turned the thing towards the wall so I didnt have to ignore its garish, annoying visuals. Finally their tagline is "....where we treat you like family...." who wants that? I eat out for the opposite. I want to be treated like a guest, or a dear friend. Not with the suspicion and veiled threats that are a hallmark of Family Dinners everywhere. Maybe their ad people havent had a family dinner in a while. Anyway. Go for the carbs. But leave your high hopes at home.

we were a group of 8 people, the food was goood but they made us wait more than 40 minutes to get a table. when we did get our table it took them 20 minutes for the server to offer us anything to drink. they didnt offer us any dressing for the salad. I got ignored as I was trying to order something. we got there at 555. we got our table at 635 we were able to order our food at 720 and our food arrived at 8pm. now remember I got there before 6pm. this is the worst olive garden ever. dont go here if your are Latino/Hispanic as you will have to wait twice as long. this place preffers white customers. worst of all the included the tips on the bill like if their service was exceptional.

My husband, my two sons and I had lunch here today. The food was great, but the service was horrible. The waitress was not attentive at all, our cups sat empty throughout our lunch until I approached the young lady who guided us to our seat. So as our waitress came to finally check on us to present our check, she asked if there was anything else she can get us, I asked for her manager, which she presented me with a lead. I asked the lead if it was because she was new, the lead answered, "No, she has been working with us for a while.". That only further angers me. An explanation of, well address the issue is not good enough, especially when it is a down time.

Been a frequent customer of this restaurant, was always a safe choice for "italiarican" food, but my visit yesterday was the last one. The new signature dish, Pork Milanese, was so poorly cooked I had to struggle to eat something, deep fried pork with a lousy taste, and the raviolis were covered by a seized cream sauce that was really not appetizing. Same thing for my wives pasta pomodoro, she ate the spaghetti but could not touch the sauce. The wait times were always an annoyance, but with such food quality and service that does not give you any reason for forgiveness, they wont see me again. Too bad Carinos closed.

Service was fairly fast! We always go to OG for soup and salad and bread sticks. The server was very nice and polite. I believe the manager she came to our table and kind enough to ask us to complete the survey. Overall I was impressed. We have seen pretty bad Olive garden on other areas but this one felt a well managed operation. We came to this Olive Garden almost after three years, and one thing always bothered us the way parking layout is. Its super damn confusing!

Very disappointed. .. service not the best... brought us food with no silverware? Salad looked like it came from the bottom of the salad bowl in the kitchen. Not much to it and the lettuce was wilted and old. Food (pasta) dry and luke warm like it sat under warmer too long. Had to track her down for silverware, salt and pepper.. and a to-go container. Could have spent $65.00 elsewhere and felt like it was money well spent.

Place was kind of too dark but I get that they were having that setting for a reason. Food is exceptional if you order a regular meal, meal for kids is terrible and plain as if anyone couldve cooked it on the streets. Sadly its not bottomless drinks, but thats justifiable with the drinks quality. Tablet games are awesome for a cheap price, but if you have a smartphone then it seems to be a waste.

Good food and good service but a waitress charged our table for somebody elses drinks. Couldnt reverse the charge, couldnt give us cash so we at least leave. Had to hang out for another 45 minutes to have the manager give us her card to call her back in a couple days to make sure she refunded the card?! Really!? Lol, oh well, tired of sitting here, just want to leave at that point.

Hadnt been to OG in 10 years. Thought Id try it for late lunch 2:30 Friday 10/14. No one to greet me. Bartender ignored me. Went to look for a waitress. One passed right by but totally ignored me, no "Ill be right with you". Went next door, welcomed in, and had an excellent lunch at Applebees. OG clearly didnt care to get my patronage. Wont try again. Charlie, Castro Valley

I have always liked Olive Garden restaurants and this is a pretty typical one. Good food and pleasant servers. My only problem is trying to restrain myself from eating too many breadsticks before I get my entree. We tried the artichoke fritta appetizers for the first time this time and we enjoyed them. The have a very lemony and refreshing taste.

Its a great place with great food. Plus, they take shorter time to serve food, and we order a lot of things, so I usually dont feel hungry for too long before the food arrives. Great service. Although they say it takes a long time to get in, it actually takes only 10 mins. The risotto balls are LIFE. Everything here is. Even the bread is good.

Last visited this place 2 weeks back. It used to be good. It has gone back to old ways - pasta was unsalted - pasta was overcooked - sauces lacked flavor - long-island iced tea ,... cmon this is the first time Ive had a long-island iced tea which was extremely bitter.. the response I got was this is how it is supposed to be.
