Really some places have this perfect star rating that you walk in expecting at-least a decent food, especially when you have vegetarians in your group and all they can eat is bean and cheese burrito. Pros : The complimentary chips and salsa were the only good thing. Cons: 1: They take only cash. 2: Haphazard management of que, every server has their own que which is pretty confusing for sitting down. 3: The place is really small, I mean literally 15 X 15 probably. 4: Quality of the food is really bad. 5: The quesadilla for $4.99 is served on a tortilla thats meant for Tacos filled with exactly 6 small steak pieces. Seriously this was a joke on the part of me ordering it as quesadilla and getting a Taco instead ! 6: We asked for completely vegetarian burrito and they served with refried beans, you know what I mean (pork !!). 7: The place is really Dirty. Overall it may be a decent 2 star restaurant probably our additional not-so-worthy experience pulled it down to a solid 1 star.Fort Bragg has so many good places to eat, Dont know wether it was an Off day or what but we wont be coming back.

Cozy, honest and authentic Mexican restaurant! Ingredients are fresh, staff is very friendly, food is amazing, portions are huge, prices are truly reasonable. What more can you ask for? The wet burrito is a speciality, the complementary salsa that comes with chips is simply awesome! We ordered for Quesadillas, Hot and spicy shrimp, Torta.. everything was finger licking good. The shrimp cocktail with modello beer looked amazing as well.

My wife and I like to share their steak burritos. The burritos here are fantastic. They are stuffed with the most delicious ingredients and they are enormous. Like I said, my wife and I will split one and we will both be full. Though Im most impressed with their burritos, I have found their other offerings to also be excellent. Best of all, the price is right. Concerning ambiance: make your order take-out!

Delicioso! This is amazing Mexican food! I love their wet burrito with shredded chicken, guacamole and sour cream! Its Mexican comfort food and the price is pleasing to your pocket! Everything is tasty and filling! The staff is wonderfully courteous while also professional! This small, warm and welcoming, restaurant is hard to beat when it comes to taste and price! LOVE IT!

I cant say enough good things about this place. Been coming here for 7 years, and always leave satisfied. Its is run by one family and they are all extremely nice, and they love what they do. They all come to work with a smile on their face every night. personally love the pastor, and the quesadillas here are to die for. Best Mexican food in Southern California.

AMAZING salmon and fish tacos. asked for them to be grilled instead of fried... the flavor and freshness was outstanding. perfect portions and cant beat the price. hubby got the fillet of fish meal and it was equally as delicious. he said the last time he had fish this good was in Mexico. enough said

We went here being told it was the best Mexican on Nor Cal Coast. We left shrugging our shoulders saying it was average. We had the Wet Burrito and chips and guacamole. It was all not bad, it just wasnt 5 star worthy in our opinion. The one part that would be 5 star was our server, super friendly!

For a wonderful lunch, great take-out ready when you call, a quick dinner before the theater or just a great chance for good Mexican food - go to Los Gallitos. It really is the best in town, and believe me, we have tried them all. Service is great and the food is fresh and tasty.

Was looking for good Mexican food and sorry to say this was not it . My beans were watered way down the rice was over cooked and kind of hard the steak was like shoe leather with pepper . Not sure if I just caught a bad day at closing or what . I do hope this was the case .

This has been the undisputed pinnacle of Mexican cuisine on the Mendocino Coast for 15 years, and I dont imagine that changing so long as they deign to feed us so well. This is the best chimichanga you can eat in a 100 mile radius; you can take that to the bank.

Like all of our local taquerias, "The Rooster" is a local favorite. Try the spicy shrimp burrito, or the tacos! A very relaxed, yet busy, small restaurant, the customer gets to enjoy perusing and choosing their beverage. Great food for great prices.

Its hidden in a strip plaza next to a laundry. As I turned into the entrance I saw the dining room full of guests and open to the kitchen - a good sign - the food is prepared to order quickly. Enjoyable meal. CASH ONLY! Well worth it.

Food was good (nachos with steak and smallish quesadilla) but service took much longer than I expected. Cash only. They added a charge for take out, but dinner total for 2 was still less than $20.
