If I could give Minus Stars I would The Ultimate Rip Off! Over Priced and Over Rated. Not a Luxurious Hotel at all. Just a Terrible 25 room Bed and Breakfast at best. I believe all positive reviews they received were written by friends and family, no one that actually paid their rates would recommend and feel they received any value whatsoever. My Partner and I stayed there in early September 2015. $995 a night before tax, the amenities provided were next to none, free water, soda, bath soaps and morning breakfast. . No bar service or Room Service, Bath Towels as rough as youd find at a Motel 6. The morning breakfast was limited at best. A better tasting and more diverse breakfast could be had at any Best Western or Holiday Inn Express. If you have dietary restrictions you’re in trouble. When we arrived temperatures were approaching 100 degrees. Our room had no air conditioning for three nights. On the second night we asked the night clerk to check the temperature of our room He said open the door for a couple hours but no much longer as to keep the bugs out! Seriously!! They did nothing to accommodate us for three nights finally moved us to a tiny room when a pipe burst in front of our room. When finally moved we were moved to a room half the size, yet they called it more luxurious. Everything was 1/3 the size, bathroom, shower, closet, and a television set you had to stand in front of to watch because it was so tiny. Absolute Joke! They gave us a $133 per night price reduction off their $995 a night rate for our discomfort. I asked for a greater consideration, owner said I was trying to blackmail her. Owner is oblivious and ignores guest’s requests and becomes hostile when you ask for ADEQUATE COMPENSATION FOR THEIR FAILURE TO PROVIDE TOLERABLE CONDITIONS and live up to what they claim is laughable luxury. They clearly don’t care about repeat business because they know none will happen. This is not a Farmhouse Inn, It’s a Barn Inn. Trust me; if you stay you will say I should have listened to that review and you will feel equally ripped off!

For many years we had put off eating at the Farm House. My wife and I finally dined there the end of January. When I made the reservation they asked if it was for a special occasion. It was, the actual day of her birthday. I decided to bring along a very nice bottle of wine, a 1998 bottle of Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon for the occasion. When we arrived I asked what the corkage fee was (my mistake for not asking on the phone). The response, $35.00!! I felt this was extremely exorbitant. We dine out occasionally and never have encountered such a high fee. From 0 to $25.00. With my reaction the Maitre d stated their wine selection was reasonably priced. Not so! You can check the list yourself on line. Once seated (comfortable) the ambiance was pleasant and well appointed. The service was about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The food was probably an eight on the scale of 1 to 10. At the end of our dinner the waiter brought in a small lit candle stuck into an approximately 1" by 1" piece of ?. We are not people with high expectations but this turned out to be a bit offensive. Nothing would have been better. We sat there looking at this miniature candle feeling a bit foolish. With two salads and 2 entrees and the infamous corkage our bill came to $150.00 before gratuity. We felt it was a bit much for the value. Would we return? Probably not.

The farmhouse Inn was definitely one of my favorite dining experiences. It was absolutely delicious and everything that I dreamt it would be :) It was a slow and relaxing dinner and the wine pairings were great. What I ate Yellowtail Crudo - Amaze Squash Soup with Shrimp - The mushroom and shrimp were perfect, but the soup broth was way to sweet for my taste Crab Crepe - It was good. I didnt order this appetizer so I didnt expect to like it, but it was pretty good. Octopus - Amaze Sea Bass - Amaze Souffle - Amaze although I did not enjoy the wine pairing, but I dont enjoy dessert wines with chocolate tones. The only negative thing throughout the entire dinner was the manager in the place. We used a gift card and we wanted to leave the wonderful server the remaining amount. The manager approached us about ordering more wine or entrees and tried to convince us to spend the rest there. No thanks dude, we want you to leave the rest for Michael. We spent the day receiving massages and facials and had no problem tipping the staff at the spa whatever we wanted. Anyway, all was wonderful and Michael was a treat. Good day!

I spent a night and had dinner there. It was a present for my birthday so I cant comment on quality price. I had a great time overall, due primarily to the amenities and interior design (cozi, beautiful yet unassuming), and the service (everyone was nice AND helpful, there but not in your way). The room was small-ish but included a real fireplace, a sauna, a spa tub (all in good condition) and the right amount of "goodies" Restaurant was great. Hard to judge since I had no idea of the price but I like fine cuisine in a good atmosphere and they hit all the right notes, from the menu (classic yet original), the food (well prepared and presented) and the service. One thing to note to avoid disappointment (the Inn owner had warned me over the phone beforehand, again a great sign of great service): Farmhouse is located on a busy road, so you hear the traffic loud and clear when outside. When inside, noise insulation is good.

Went here a couple of years ago with friends in autumn. Walked away thinking wow. Service was top notch, food exellent, ambience just right. Went here last week for anniversary /birthday combo. Whilst still good, definitely seemed to have lost a bit of the wow factor. First time round you could hardly do anything without one of the wait staff appearing to offer more water, check if all was OK, fold a napkin etc. This time the service (whilst still high quality) was more hands off. Took a long time to place order for example and overall didnt give that ultra high quality feel. Also, my wife mentioned our event but they forgot to make note of it despite the table behind us getting a little something for a similar reason. Again just contributed to the 4 rather than 5 stars. For the record we both did 4 courses such with wine came to about $450.

Came for a four course dinner with wine pairing. Overall, we had a great experience. We had the ahi, crab, octopus, pork belly, halibut, rabbit, chocolate souffle, and lemon tart. Everything tasted excellent and we got to experience a lot of new flavors in the food. The wine pairing was pretty good and the sommelier was quite knowledgeable. With the food, the halibut was quite underwhelming when compared to the other dishes (that all has some excellent flavors and were exceptionally prepared). The halibut was just standard and not special. The desserts were ok but we had higher expectations given the rest of the meal. In all, the food and drinks were great but the price to quality ratio was greatly underserved (total was worth half the price paid). It was a good experience but would not return.
