Pros: Nice outside view of a water fountain, and the inside looks pretty nice and the staff seemed friendly (that is why I gave it a second star). Cons: I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken for $11, I had to leave the bistro for a few minutes and when I came back I asked my wife, who remained at the table during my departure, if she had eaten any of the chicken off my plate. There were approximately 3 bite size pieces on the entire plate; the rest was mushroom, celery, huge pieces of bell peppers. The sauce was average without any spice to it, however, they had dried up chilies you could chew on if you wanted heat. The dish came without rice or anything else, the portion was about the size of a childs meal. My wife ordered the Bulgogi it was better than my dish; however, below average. My wife and I agreed that we will definately not return. It is too bad, because they really have a nice view outside. Oh, and you can bring your dog to the outside seating!

I had Mongolian beef (without chilies) with sticky rice and pork pot stickers for an appetizer. My dining companions also had soup, which came in a giant bowl. They enjoyed the soup. The pot stickers were bland, and the dipping sauce wasnt good. My Mongolian beef was both bland and fatty. I barely ate any. The best part of the meal was the rice, sad to say. Also, we were there on a Saturday night, and they had a band playing. It was so loud in there that our party of 6 had to eat in silence because we couldnt hear each other. Try asking a waiter menu questions and ordering a meal with bad music blasting. It was also hot in there, and when I asked if it could be made cooler, another man came and said the setting was on cool. Theres only cool or heat, according to him, no temperature adjustment knob.

Its a little off the beaten path in an unlikely looking place (its in a business center bldg.)When I first walked in, there was a really bad funky smell in the lobby area. When I walked in it reminded me of a really old reno casino buffett. The only reason it got A star was because it was the only place open after 9pm, the receptionist (although young) was super nice, the order was fulfilled quickly & the food was hot. Othe than that it was a complete disappointment. The food did not taste good AT ALL. The fried rice was bland, the noodles had a plastic taste to it. The meat order had more veggies than meat and it was kind of tough to chew. Needless to say wont be going back, prefer to have a bowl of cereal at home instead. Super disappointed!

This review is for their take out. Dont do it. We got the cherry chicken, chow fun, chicken salad and spicy crispy pork. I couldnt taste any cherry in the chicken, the noodles on the chow fun were OK but the chicken in it was flavorless, the chicken salad was soggy and chicken was also flavorless, and finally the crispy pork was neither spicy or crispy. What it was, was over cooked. $46 trial did not go so well. Perhaps its better straight off the wok? I certainly will not be ordering take out again.

Website says last call at 1045, understandable because they close at 11, we are visiting from out of town and googled around to find a spot, drove 20min to get there showed up and the guy tells us kitchen already did last call, i told him the website said 1045 was last call he lied and said it was already past 1045. Pissed off we went back in the car to leave and the cell phone said 1043, waste of time and gas. I understand its only a few min. But then dont post on your site you accept orders till 1045.

Stick Rice is innovative, fresh and delicious! The full bar produces creative and tasty drinks that accompany the food marvelously. When I say innovative Im commenting on their take on traditional chinese dishes that will astound you. Both in presentation and ingredient combination. The decor is simple, clean and comfortable. And the service is beyond excellent. The attentive and knowledgeable staff never missed a beat. Definitely worth the stop, even if you are just passing through Fairfield!

Sticky Rice far surpassed my expectations. This restaurant was incredible. Loved the outdoor seating area. So peaceful with views of the water fountain behind. Now, the food was even better than the views. The menu is well designed and clearly identified which items were gluten free, making for easy selection - no assumptions necessary. The squash curry was unique and delicious!

It is one of the few nice restaurants in this area for the locals. It has live music on certain nights, a wide variety of food to pick from, a bar, outside area, and is family friendly. The service is good and price fairly reasonable. Lately the food has been all a bit oily and I dont know why the change. The calamari appetizer is out of this world!

we liked the taste of food but it was like kids size plus its too pricey for chineese food. they should bring some rice as a side at least. my drink was pretty good. but we were still hungry when we left restaurant i didnt wanna order more pricey chinese food which i could get anywhere else three times cheaper. looks clean staff is friendly

Great food but a little expensive. Great drinks but a little expensive. Patio seating is great, very clean and sturdy tables and chairs. I recommend the orange beef, lemon chicken and pork sticky fried rice. The specialty drinks are fantastic. I highly recommend this place but dont expect to get off cheap

My wife & I had visited this restaurant before & the food is always consistently good but this past Saturday night we decided to go out for dinner here & got sick 5 min after eating. I believe it was the sea food appetizer since we barely even touched our entrees before becoming ill.

I like that there local talent providing music with the dining e experience. The menu is a la carte however so dont expect for your entree to include rice. I ordered the chicken chow fun which is very good. Served with tender sauted bok choy there was no left overs.

Sticky rice must have had the nicest personal weve ever had. She was so upbeat and happy, it really made our lunch even better. The food was delicious and our server made a couple of suggestions that made it a great experience. Well be back again!

Food is good, atmosphere is pleasant, music (on Saturday) has been quite enjoyable. Yes, it can get a little loud but looking around people...people are enjoying one another.

The food was good. Patio is nice next to the water and fountain. The lunch specials are a great value. Also, they make a mean Arnold Palmer. I was pleased with my experience.
