First owners have changed yes! Second its not bad pizza it is good . The old owners tweaked there pizza and made it so unique and fun to experience pizza you really cant get anywhere else. There salads were amazing when it was served the old way the Greek olives etc. IF that is IF the new owners want to keep the vibe and want lots of business then they will have to keep with the old style that was served. Its like buying round table and changing it to papa johns and not telling anyone then expecting to have the same pizza. I personally like the new pizza and have no complaints but I have a child that goes to school down the road I talk to all the standard parents and everyone is complaining about how now its just another pizza place not unique at all. Plus I live in fair Oaks I have since I was a child and we had spread the word about this pizza place to every person I have run into sad that now I cant tell them its unique and fun place. Now its like Mark and Monicas pizza plus no kids area that I could find I wont be going often because my kids and others had a spot to color and play so we could sit and wait with out getting over whelmed but the kids running around. Ill only be pre ordering and picking up period .

Wow! I have been searching for authentic delicious east coast style pizza since I moved to California 7 years ago and now I have finally found it. Velocity Pizza just opened a couple of weeks ago around the corner from my house and I could not be more thrilled. I tried the New York pizza and the wife got the pesto pizza. The crust on both were delicious, soft in the right places with some crisp on the ends. The sauce had all the right flavors and the pizza as a whole was cooked to perfection. Also tried the Caesar salad which was heavenly. I wish these guys all the luck in the world as I know how hard it is to open a pizza place that doesnt adhere to the norms (im looking at you Roundtable, Mountain Mikes etc). I will be telling everyone who wants Pizza in Fair Oaks to run (dont walk) to Velocity Pizza!

The pizza is not bad overall, but the crust is a little bland, which is a bummer because this place, with the original owners, used to be known for its unique thin sourdough crust. Also the house salad has an overpowering amount of onions, but good otherwise if you remember to 86 them. They do, however, have great customer service, and the new owners actually put a sign up that says its a pizza place. My neighbor had completely overlooked it before, assuming it was some kind of tech store, so good call new owners.

Pizza tasted fresh. The cheese was fresh, crust hand tossed and made recently, sauce was flavorful and i actually got a little tomato skin in one bite. I pepperoni was industry standard where i prefer the tiny ones. My only issue was the size of the "large". The toppings stopped 2-4" from the edge. While i really liked the crust i feel like the overall size was too small for the price. I will be going back when i want to splurge.

The place was clean in front and what we could see of the kitchen. The girl working in front was very nice and helpful. We ordered a chicken artichoke pizza and changed it up from the white sauce to red. The crust was nice and crunchy all the way through, a big plus for us. My kid thinks it had to much cheese. But I like cheese on my pizza so he must be adopted! Over all I think I would return.

Wanted to try this place since they opened. They have odd hours which i get but they stopped friday lunch. Not sure is thats enough to keep it alive. Any way the pizza was pretty good, more west coast style then east coast. No blue cheese with the wings just ranch.:( The Italian sausage was gross though. Sorry. Salads are fresh and tasty. Gonna give a different pizza a try. Nice clean shop:)

Visited Velocity again! It was amazing. I loooooove their cheese. You can taste the quality! The atmophere was so perfect with three little toddlers in our group. The owners wereso patient and gracious host with us! it was just incredible experience!

The staff is nice, the lizza is really good, and the $10 large pizza deal on tues/wed/thurs is a steal. Also their soda collection is oddly elaborate with little martinellis sparkling apple and jarritos and stuff. Check it out!
