Im a huge sushi fan and Matsuyama is pretty perfect for me. The workers are always super polite, not to mention always coming back to make sure everything is to your liking. The sushi itself has always been delicious; there has never been a time I had to wait a long time to order, or a time when me food was wrong. I definitely recommend dinning here.

My default choice for Japanese food in Lodi. I feel it takes less effort to walk in and eat than it would for other sushi places locally. Very unassuming place and the staff are great. The food is good and wouldnt leave one wanting in terms of flavor. Definitely more casual and laid back than others and thats part of its appeal.

The food has always been great, sometimes the service is a little lacking or gets backed up. Maybe an extra staff person around lunch time would help.

Great, real Japanese food and sushi. This locale in Lodi is the original restaurant. He since opened in Stockton and now Tracy. Two thumbs up.
