So every time I go to a restaurant I am always very understanding since I have been a server before. I understand being in the weeds and everything else. But I also know how to recognize good service from bad service. Went there with my husband for our first date night. Its close to our house and we always passed by so we decided to finally try it. We walked in and there was no host at the front to seat us. There was no sign saying to seat ourselves, we could not even see any servers in the dining room because its closed off. So we sat in the bar since there were a couple of tables occupied there and saw the bartender. The table was dirty so we asked for napkins after she took our drink order. She said she was going to bring an actual rag to wipe down the table, never did. We ordered this appetizer that had the toppings of nachos but were fried potatoes instead of chips. Didnt like it. They were really oily. Great concept but bad execution. I only ate it to be a good sport about being out with my husband. Husband asked for water and never got any. And it took about 10 to 15 minutes to get our check. It wasnt that busy in the bar but I did notice other guests looking around because they werent receiving the adequate attention they needed. Left feeling bummed that I wasted my time and money. Will not be back.

The food has gone downhill significantly over the past couple of years. I went in tonight to get an order to go and it took 30+ minutes. I asked the young man about the $12.99 for ONE enchilada a la carte... he had to run in the back, was gone for what seemed 10 minutes; I paid for it, got home and they did not give me what I ordered. I ordered a combination dinner and got everything a la carte, no beans, no rice, no salad. I called them and was told I could come back down and get the beans and rice. Are you kidding me? Im not driving all the way back for beans and rice; put me on hold and then said he could take my name and next time I came in I would get free beans and rice. Are you kidding me? I wont be back. This is just another less than acceptable attempt at dinner here. I will not be wasting my money here anymore and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. All of the food I did get was cold. I need to add a follow-up... the owner called and apologized. She insisted on bringing jkme beans and rice... AND a gift certificate for two dinners. We will go back because the owner went out of her way for us and I appreciate it. She restored my faith in humanity

I have eaten here on several occasions and just picked up lunch for 3 and took it home. I am no longer going to eat here as this was an awful experience. Spent over $30.00 and still hungry as the majority of the food went into the trash. My shredded beef taco tasted like the meat was spoiled and the meat was like pure mush and really greasy. The chicken tasted old and I couldnt even cut up the chili relleno so I threw it away. Called and spoke to the head waiter and all he could say is he would give us something else, I told him i wasnt after that but wanted him to know what they are serving is unacceptable.

Friday night a group of us from out of town finished up our birding visit to the area and had a reservations at this restaurant. It was fabulous. We were seated quickly and in an area of the large richly decorated facility that was private and comfortable. Our group ordered many different items from the menu and EVERYONE was happy with the food. The service was quick, responsive, and extremely friendly. Prices were reasonable, and the selection was extensive. We are sad that the restaurant is so far from our residences that we can not come more often.

Stoppedgoing because food wasnt that god and lack of service. Went pack and found a great dish. I have been their 3 times this month and the service plain sucks. It is almost like they pride themselves in lack of service. Drinks arent refilled, unhelpful waiters, you have to ask several times for things like tortillas, chips and salsa. Please imprve your service so I can go back and enjoy the Steak a la espanola

We took my daughter lastnight for her 16th birthday and when making the reservations we were promised a memorible experience so we went here instead of chilis( always perfect there). the service was horrible as was the food and only as we were asking for the check did they remember to come out and sing to her. So much for a wonderful dinner. Do yourself a favor and dont go there try Angelos downtown...

While this place has your typical mexican food. It really soars with its specialty dishes that put a unique spin on mexican food. I recently had a pork tamales covered a white cream shrimp sauce that was absolutely delicious it was pair with some delightfully seasoned grilled veggies and a side of black beans. I highly recommend this place and try one of their many unique dishes.

Very bad service. We waited about 10 minutes and nobody came to our table so we just left. The food might be good but we didnt stay to find out. Also, there was no music playing and hardly anyone there so it seemed very depressing. I gave it 2 stars because it looks like a nice place. It has potential. Just get a better staff and play some music!

Seriously worst service and even worse food and atmosphere Ive had better Mexican food from taco trucks what a joke... and then to top it off there was a dead fly in my burrito! I about threw up on my plate i guess i should have probably would have tasted better and then the manager refused to comp me my dinner never going back

Worst service ever. Actually, I take that back no service ever. We sat there for 15 minutes and still nobody offered us water or beverages. We were the only people sitting at the bar. It was not a busy night. Learn how to treat your customers, cactus. This isnt the first time this has happened.

I like the atmosphere, the restuarant and its facility is clean. Service was good, drinks were good, price is good. Food was delicious and served hot. My guests and i had enjoyed it and had a good time. Overall give it four stars. Will recommend to friends.

Avoid. Not a professionally-run restaurant. Food took 40 minutes. Margaritas were poorly made. Bar was empty for long stretches, people werent getting service and got up and left. Wish we had gone somewhere else at 7pm on a Saturday.

Food is good. But the service is one of the worst Ive experienced! Recently returned there for the third time to give it another try. Nope it was worse. Not returning, going to seek another spot while visiting the area.

Not impressed at all. Long wait for a table on a SLOW night. Sat in the "Bar" to eat. Food came out slowly and wifes order was super spicy for her when she specifically asked for mild. Beer flowed well though.
