My review is for lunch at Larb Thai Food & Tapas. Overall, the food was tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. Dishes: Panang Curry - very tender beef chunks served with some veggies (carrots & eggplants, etc) with rice on the side. The beef was VERY tender and the curry was very flavorful. I would definitely order this dish again. Im not sure if it was a special or part of the normal menu because I dont see it on their website. Larb - The server recommended the duck larb, but what I got looked more like pork. Maybe all larbs look the same? Anyway, confusion aside, it tasted good regardless. It was my first time having larb, so I was a little confused on how to eat it because its more of a meat salad (lettuce shavings on the bottom) and didnt come with rice. Think of it more as an asian style chili thats vinaigrette based rather than tomato based. They also had Brother Thelonious on tap, which was definitely a plus. Definitely a great Lao/Thai place that serves up more than your typical Thai restaurant.

The food are authentically GOOD! All our dishes are up to thai food standards. Pad thai was not mushy or too sweet like many of the other thai restaurants. I need to come back to try the Laos style papaya salad. The only mini complaint is the dish is small for a regular price dish, but the taste balance that out.

Authentic flavors and spice level. Im pretty seasoned and I can deal with a high level of spice, and this place really delivers an authentic veryyyy spicy experience. But the spice does not take over and the flavors are still great and youll want to finish your food, even if your mouth is on fire.

Fantastic cuisine and wonderful staff! Pork Hock was tender, flavorful, and satisfying. Chicken curry was delectable and the coconut milk was made from fresh coconuts. Generous portions on both dishes. Looking forward to trying more tasty dishes!

Wow, this place is great. Great food, good service, and good selection. The atmosphere is hip, but not pretentious. Good parking and a short walk from Bart. Im so excited that there is such a good Thai place in this neighborhood!

My new go to Thai place. Lots of diverse menu options beyond the typical Thai restaurant offerings, and everything is delish! Small place but the atmospbere is nice and the staff is friendly and efficient.
