Went around 930/945 p.m. it was about 1/4 full. They had 2 servers, ours was very personable but the organization seems to be lacking. Our food came out in a weird order and sat in the back long enough for our loaded fries to be cold and the cheese had coagulation and hardened on the fries. We asked for them to be removed from the bill which they were. The glass of wine I had ordered seemed to be a bit skimpy on the serving and there was a gentleman working with a backwards hat on and a flannel button up sweater shirt, when all the other employees had a uniform black shirt look. It just was a disappointing experience and we most likely wont be returning there anytime soon, if ever. I would suggest if you decide to go here, go for drinks and appetizers that dont require a speedy service, something that cant sit and get cold. I will say the chicken tortilla soup is good and that was hot when it came out. If you dont have high expectations this place might suit you. I hate having to give a low rating because I do own a business and know what its like to have dissatisfied customers but weve worked hard to make a good experience for anyone who comes in and go out of our way to redeem anyone who has a less than satisfactory experience. Taking criticism is the only way to improve, hope they will take this as a personal challenge to do just that.

Went on a Saturday night. Its your typical restaurant atmosphere. Nothing special to make this place stand out except its name. Not a bad place but its pretty much like going to your typical TGI Fridays or Applebees without alot of the decor. I had to seat myself as no one greeted me at the door, the service was ok, just not the most upbeat service u can get. If u just want a place available to hang out and youre not picky, then if you go to the his place, you will accomplish that. Food was average, drinks were good though, a little pricey for the lack of excitement. This is the place to go when all other places are closed.

went saturday night. service is okay. spot was not extremely busy and had no wait for our party of 5. food was okay. a little on the bland side, but the nachos were good. ordered a pitcher of the pineapple express sangria and it was very watered down and the pitcher was full of ice. sent it back and the server looked a little annoyed, but took it back to get another pitcher of stone berry sangria, and again full of ice, but this one at least tasted much better. my recommendation is get a glass of sangria instead of a pitcher, its a trick.

our experience is usually good when its slow , our favorite thing is here the chicken quesadilla and happy hour at 10. Today they took about an hour food and drinks to come out and the excuse was that all the waitresses were new. We seen waitresses taking their sweet time and hovering with our food. Telling our waiter he seemed only annoyed and played it off with humor. Its close to the theater so its cool to come after on an outing .

This place is in an excellent location, great space and beer selection BUT their service sucks! Ive been there a few times already as Im a local and its the same lame service at the bar every time. Its too bad because if the management would be more experienced and maybe hands on, they would know this is an issue and theyre losing business to Lazy Dog! Improve your service please!

Always a good time here. My best friend and I frequent this place often and see familiar faces from around the neighborhood. The bartenders are awesome at mixing and have super fun and nice attitudes. The bourbon burger is their best item. I get mine with tots. The mac n cheese is legit too. Tuesdays are $5 burger and drinks night after 5pm. Wednesdays are trivia night. Have fun!

Nice atmosphere and decent drinks, but the service wasnt the greatest. I had to ask three times for a glass of water, drinks took forever to come, even when it wasnt busy, and the waitress had an attitude. A change of waitstaff might change my rating, but overall, the waitress makes the experience.

I really like this place but last time I was there, service was terrible and when I told the bartender he hadnt come to see if we needed something in forty minutes, he remarked "oh well man youll get over it." Definitely will be going to Lazy dog for after movie food and beer from now on.

We went for thier tasteless Tuesday hamburgers. Sat in a restaurant to loud that its difficult to speak with the person next to you without shouting. Trying to watch horribly placed tv sets to watch the sports game. Expensive and Overcrowded. Over Hyped and underwhelmed.

$5 Burger Tuesdays is why I first started going to this spot, and they are some of the best burgers Ive tried. They have beef and Turkey options and lots of variety for bar drinks. Laid back atmosphere and experienced servers/bartenders make the place even more relaxing

Food was good, except for lettuce wraps that never came, nice waitress, slow service...which looks like a problem at Bar Louie from reviews. Manager made excuse of being short staffed. We arrived early for a quick bite. Gave us a 10% discount for inconvenience.

Food brought to table out of order, food first then appetizers and soup last , fries were cold. A waiter was walking around serving food in a flannel and a hat that was on backwards. He looked like a kid that would be skating out in the parking lot.

Great place to catch sports and a good variety of beers with a full bar. The food is really good too and some of the plates are big. Buffalo Chicken Totchos is great treat and good to share with a group of 4 to 6. The Voodoo pasta is great!

Bar Louie is a wonderful it has a full bar but it also has eating places for families inside and outside it has Tuesday Burgers specials $5 from 5 to closing Burger specials great happy hour starting at 5 drinks appetizers half off

New Place in Downey, definitely worth checking it out. Waiters are quick to get your orders. Bar tenders dont ignore you and serve you rather quick even when its crowded. Havent tried the food, but ill be back to review on that.

Worst service i have ever had at a restaurant in my life.... the only good people were behind the bar(theybroughtmy nachos) they ....last sunday around 3pm we seemed to be invisible even after they told us to sit anywhere

Decent happy hour... Nice selection of craft beers.. nice patio for people watching and soaking up the socal life... More of a younger crowd, but I would recommend if youre just waiting for show time..
