The Eggs Bernardo was good. The bread it came on was delicious. The hollandaise was rather bland, but served to moisten the dish. My wife got the corn meal Belgian waffle with pecan butter which was really good. The only thing I would advise against is the fruit bowl. It was a banana sliced up, about 20 blueberries and 4 strawberries. It cost $5.25 which is about what I would expect to pay for that kind of thing, but the banana was very bruised up and mushy. The kind that youre normally going to set aside to use in banana bread instead of eating. Bananas are about the least expensive fruit in the grocery store so that ticked me off. When I order something like this in a restaurant I expect to get fruit that passes at least a minimal hurdle and this definitely didnt. That, in my mind, showed a level of laziness that they should be ashamed of. Do not order the fruit bowl.

Im always trying to find a good place for breakfast, so I thought Id try this place. The food is just ok, but Ive received crappy customer service from 2 different people there. There was a woman asking for help in front of me, after waiting 10 minutes in line, I asked if someone could help me. She gave me attitude and since I was hungry and tired, I ordered and went to find a seat. She then plopped my coffee on the table and with a rude attitude told me that I should wait for my coffee at the cash register next time. Ive been sticking to Crepeville since. Their food is way better and they havent made me feel like a jerk for eating at their restaurant.

I came here with a group of 30 people after having gotten married earlier that day. I was aware they could not reserve seating but when we got there the staff was able to set up tables, store our cakes, and serve us without any issues. The bar and the main restaurant worked with us and the staff was polite and welcoming. Johnny, who I believe is the manager, took great care of us and made us feel very comfortable. The drinks were great and the food was even better! My husband and I ordered the steak with potatoes and string beans and it was the best Ive ever had! We plan on making this our "special occasion" restaurant.

WORST pancake Ive ever tasted in my life. I really wonder what they did to the pancake to make it awefully salty and gewy like that. Had to eat breakfast cuz I had work later on but couldnt finish the dish. Silveries had pink lipstick stain on it. The maple syrup jaw was dirty too. disgusting. all the cups had milk leftovers clogged up in every corner of it. Omelet had that egg scent that should have easily gotten rid of if it had been seasoned before being poured onto the pan.

I come here for brunch all the time! They have amazing Benedict and French toast, and their coffee is good too. They actually dont have a vegetarian Benedict but if you ask to replace the meat with some spinach and tomato they usually will do it without an extra charge. They just remodeled so it looks very nice now. The only downside is that when they are busy it can be hard to find a place to sit.

18$ for a mixed greens salad and fries.paid 2$ extra for goat cheese extra and wasnt even hooked up haha. To top it off the owner /manager of the family yelled at a employee in front of me for no good reason for taking my order instead of making me wait for 10 mins for the 10:50-11am breakfast switch . Feel bad for this place

Good food and great environment. Personally havent had the best experiences here. With previously being placed in the back room and basically being forgotten about. Also their hamburger for the approximately the same price as other places doesnt come with fries. But others that I know enjoy Benardos and recommend it.

Had avoided this place for breakfast in years past. Just not worth what they were charging. A recent visit completely changed my mind. Even the jam for the bread was a pleasant surprise. The walnut waffles were surprisingly good (not sweet). Omelette was really good as well. Recommended, Ill be back soon.

Delicious food. Good portions. Great service. We had a nice Saturday brunch on the patio with our two dogs. The only issue we had was that the outside tables are 2-seaters and there were 3 of us and the two dogs so it was kind of a tight fit. I only mention it because I wish I knew it before going :)

Om NOM NOM. I love breakfast here. My roommates and I would always wake up at the butt crack of dawn before our classes just to grab that Hollondaise sauce. Or on Wednesday nights for their 5$ burgers, and if you have late classes on Thursday have a couple of Wikis too.

They have a nice selection of salads and outdoor tables under a patio cover along the sidewalk. Convenient downtown location. I recommend the Chop Salad. You order at the cash register and they bring the food to your table. One of my favorite budget restaurants.

They dont appear to have too many options for those who dont eat beef or pork, so I went with the Salmon Salad. It was ok. For the price I paid, I was hoping itd be delicious. The Chai Tea Latte was bland; too much soy milk. I probably will not return.

Oh my goodness! This place was amazing for breakfast! I crave their food all the time, especially the Chilaquiles. It comes with a great green sauce. The coffee is tasty as well if you like to drink your coffee black. Its not cheap diner coffee.

Best breakfast in Davis. Stick with sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner. Entrees tend to be overpriced and of average taste. The wait time can be in excess of 45 minutes. Beer selection is decent considering the small number if taps.

Pretty good food but not the cheapest. Weird mixture of self service and not. The coffee is $3 but free refills. Enjoyed the huevos rancheros but beware they are spicy! The breakfast burrito was recommended by the cashier and was very good.

I love this place! The breakfast food here is great and definitely has a lively vibe. The most important thing about this place is not the food, but WIKIS!! If you havent tried a wiki you have not lived...definitely check this place out.

You order at the counter from a huge blackboard menu starring terrific sandwiches, burgers and salads, all prepared to order. Breakfast/brunch offer well prepared pancake, Waffle and egg specialties. The coffee is excellent.
