3.5 stars. Food is pretty good, certainly above average, and the prices are around $20 per dinner. Wine is OK for the price. Ambiance is unique and kinda fun. Employees and customers are friendly. Service is slow - food was so cold that it needed to be returned to the kitchen. Place is very unique and if close by its a fun, casual evening every 10 weeks or so. I notice others rave about the seafood. Its above average but not remarkable. Zio Fraedos just across the bridge in Vallejo has much better seafood and service for about $5 more per meal. Unfortunately there were a number of lowlifes hanging around outside. Three drunk guys were getting in a fight and two drunk women were egging them on while blocking the exit from the parking lot. Walking in or out of the restaurant you are engulfed with cigarette smoke. DO NOT rely upon Google maps to find the place (Ive tried moving the Google marker but do not know if it will be accepted); they have confused Dowrello Dr. (restaurant location) with Duperu Dr. which is residential. To get there take Pomona east, turn left on Port, stay on Port as it veers to the left at which point road becomes Dowrello.

This has been a favorite place of mine and my family for many, many years. Food is always really good to great. Service has always been friendly (even if not always the speediest. Whats everyones rush anyhow?) View is one of a kind. And atmosphere, also one of a kind. I notice some reviewers are outspoken about how the Dead Fish is "better". To each their own. And Im sure they would still like the DF no matter where it were located. Ya see, the DF is not a Crockett restaurant. It is a restaurant that just happens to be located in Crockett. While, on the other hand, the Nantucket IS so much a part Crocketts history and vice-versa, one would have trouble separating the two. So if you just want to eat, go to the DF, or Burger King or whatever... but if you want to enjoy the "Crockett dining experience", something I would describe as down-to-earth people, no attitudes, no snobbery, just warm conversation with friends both old and new, then there is NO choice to be made. The Nantucket is simply the only option.

Decided to stop here on the way back from the Cal v USC game; asked for a table for two and was told it would be an hour wait even though there were a few tables open; we were the told we could sit at the bar; sat down at the bar and decided to use the bathroom; on way to bathroom passed another open table; when I came back my wife said she had still not been helped at all and that the group of 4 behind us was seated right away at one of the open tables that we had seen when we asked to be seated; when we were waiting in line a family in front of us was also given a hard time about finding a table to be seated at; the commonality between us and the family before us was that we were Asian; the group of 4 that was seated right away was a Caucasian group; I’ve been here before and have never felt so racially profiled in my life

For some reason I thought this place was shut down. We made it there around 1:30pm so it wasnt crowded. Food was ok but my mom and I both started feeling nauseous and got stomach aches after eating here. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a crab melt with French fries and my mom had fish and chips. It was thickly breaded. We did enjoy the scene. The parking lot makes this place look run down. Its full of big deep potholes and when it rains it fills up making it harder to get in and out. Theres lots of abandoned or broken down vehicles and trailers/campers around as well.

Had a great time with my fiance. Went here kind of on a whim. Just searched for restaurants in Crockett and this one popped up. Went tonight and it was great. The clam chowder was thick and flavorful and the salmon I ordered was broiled to perfection. My fiance had mussels and shrimp, perhaps the best Ive had since visiting Savannah Georgia, where seafood seemed to be part of every meal. Will definitely be visiting again.

I ordered the New York black pepper steak. Smothered in onions & mushrooms, baked potato, vegetables, and side salad. Salad was just the right size. Not to big where you couldnt enjoy your meal not too small leaving you wanting more. The steak satisfied my craving. Big and juicy couldnt eat it all and for me that was a first. The employees there always nice and with a smile. Cant wait to go back.

Wow, What a RIPOFF!!! We went here for our Anniversary dinner and I ordered a lobster tail. It was overcooked and tasteless. On the menu it said market value and when the bill came it was $46. What market are we talking about, the Gold market? Even a whole Maine lobster doesnt cost this much. The rest of the food was mediocre. Yes, it has nice views but I would never go here again.

The servers are friendly and professional. Cocktails are quickly placed on the table along with great garlic bread. The seafood is fresh and cooked perfectly, generous portions. Love the fact that soup or salad are part of the meal. Along the waterfront so gazing through the windows is fun. Let the good times roll, at the Nantucket. Jim F

A quiet restaurant tucked outside of the hush and bustle of the big city. The restaurant has fresh seafood served daily. The parking lot is simple gravel and rocks. Ive seen some people complain about the dings in their cars because of what was kicked up. This is a great place to stop off if you are a traveling frequently over the Carquinez bridge.

Its in a funky location and a bit run down but the view of the water is great! The service is fast and attentive qithout6 being intrusive. The food we got was quite tasty. My husband had the crab Louie and said it was good. I got the sauteed scallops which came in light and slightly creamy mushroom sauce. I would definitely order it again!

Rude employees. I waited for an hour for them to open at 11am. When I walked in the door just after 11am, two employees sat at a table and asked me what I wanted. I asked if they were open. They said, "Ten minutes." I said, "Oh, so you open at 11:10 not 11 as it says on your door?" The guy said, "Yeah." I walked out and will never return.

Service was terrible. When we entered, server walked by us 3 times without acknowledging us. He could have said, "hey guys, Ill be with you in a couple minutes." I had to ask if we should seat ourselves or continue to wait. Once we were seated, it took 15 minutes for our server to come and take our order. Wont be back anytime soon.

Nice spot on the water, under the Carquinez Bridge, in Crocket CA. It has been around forever, my in-laws would stop here when they were sailing on the bay or going from Stockton to the Bay Area. American Grill fare, fish, sandwiches, steaks. It has a bar and is a casual spot to meet and hand with friends.
