Last night had their special fish which was wild salmon. they happily substituted mashed potatoes for gluten-sensitive-me in place of the pasta that came with the salmon. Their bread (know from the past) is always yummy. Waiter was able to give me a wine -pairing recommendation which turned out pretty good. The salmon was cooked just right, done, but tender. The mashed potatoes were real---and delicious. Besides some veggies, my plate came w/ olive tapenade and pesto. We shared a slice of hot apple pie and ice cream for dessert. An excellent meal and I have the feeling there that the food is fresh and chosen with some attention to quality of ingredients. I dont worry that extra fat or salt are being thrown in to buff up the flavor and make me miserable later. The environment is pleasant and the service is always good. i have enjoyed dinners at this restaurant for a long time.

Inn Kensington seriously deserve an award for having the fastest service known to man. Within 30 seconds of sitting down you are handed your menu and given the chance to order. Max 5 minutes later you are already enjoying your breakfast and coffee. Yet even though the service is fast, the food is all incredibly fresh and delicious. Their signature biscuits are to die for and their french toast is excellent.

Though sometimes crowded, I still think this place is a hidden gem. A great breakfast selection every day, but with a whole board of additional choices on the weekend. They also have the fastest order-to-table service I have ever experienced. Regardless, everything tastes fresh and just prepared. They are cash only but there is an ATM at the end of the block.

The food is good and mostly locally sourced, they are happy to offer you samples of their daily soup. Unfortunately this is sometimes ruined by an incredibly disrespectful manager- Drew. If you feel the need to cuss out a long time customer, maybe you should be working somewhere other than customer service.

There is always a line, but its worth it! Biscuit is a MUST! (with their blueberry jam). They serve their food pretty fast too. The whole table always gets the food together (I really like that). CASH ONLY!
