Customer Beware, If youre looking for the worst dining experience in Covina, then you found the right place in town! Sad but true. My family and I came in for dinner one Saturday night after hearing great things about the food and service provided by Town Sent Seafood Restaurant. We arrived at 8:50 pm and walked into the restaurant to be seated. Suddenly, one of the waiters came up to us and began shouting “sit down and order quickly because we’re almost closing, and my cooks need to take their breaks and eat”. So we took a seat and began to look over the menu. Meanwhile, the waiter stood firm by our table and waited for us to order. Question to all readers, how does someone order when it’s your first time visiting and you haven’t had the opportunity to review the menu items? Furthermore, I thought the restaurant closed at 10:00 pm, doesnt that allow for one hour and 10 minutes to order and have your meal? The waiter began to demand the order and started to get upset. I tried to remind him that the restaurant closed at 10:00 pm. He said “it makes no difference, you order now or not at all”. By now my family and I had enough of this crap. We got up and left the place. The only thing I said to the waiter “I will never come here again just because of your ignorance and lack of service to the customer! "Furthermore, I will tell everyone I know about the trouble experience I had today!" So Bon Appetit!

I am a natural healing doctor so when I like a restaurant its because they have food that is nourishing and rebuilds the body, not simply because it tastes good. I feel good and energetic after eating there. I dont feel sleepy or irritable. Service is one of my pet peeves and I was impressed with Town Sent. Efficient and fast. They are "neutral" when I am engaged with company or on the phone but they are very perceptive of when I am in a social mood and chat with me at those times. They are friendly, happy, and one of them is really funny. Occasionally one of them may have an off day and not be at their best but who doesnt have a bad day once in a while. Excellent lunch prices. Good dinner prices for the quality of the food. They do lots of take-out service. They get busy but the wait for a table is never long because of their efficiency. I see a lot of Chinese people eating there and that makes me feel comfortable when I go to a Chinese restaurant and Chinese people eat there. I stopped going to the other Chinese restaurants when I discovered this place. Youll impress your friends and family when you help them discover this hidden gem!

Today 10-29-13 for the first time I went to this restaurant, everything was going ok there soup was good, the sweet and sour pork good but plate was to small, orange chicken fresh and seafood chow main crispy. Until I told the waiter that it was my wifes birthday and suggested if he could bring a little something to sing, he said he was going to bring a candle. I thought maybe a slice of cake but NO what they brought was a small plate with 4 fortune cookies and the candle in the middle. OMG I could not believe what I saw it was so embarrassing, I dont know if this is common or did they ran out of dessert. I just would rather them telling what they were going to do. Thats why I give them 3 stars

I Love every this place. My family has been coming get here for years and now I bring my family. I recommend the orange chicken, green beans with any meat you cant go wrong, the bbq pork and noodles ( I always forget what they are called lol the waiters will help you though, they are thick noodle and come with your choice of meat) I always get mine with chicken. This place every will definitely not disappoint. And the price is great, lunch is cheaper and comes with free rice, soup, and tea

This is THE best chinese food around here...the walnut shrimp is awesome and the volcano beef with black pepper is delicious!!! My family and I come to this place all the time...servers are friendly...if they r busy dont expect to conversate with these guys...they get swamped and dont have time...dont take that personal! I am on a first name basis with most but when they are busy I let them be...all in all I would suggest this place again and again...Ive never been disappointed!

My Aunt keeps bringing me here and finally she has realized that this place is not all that great. The service is great but the food...I dont like eating Chinese food where corn starch is the main ingredient in their dishes. And its alot! I have been to plenty of good Chinese restaurants and none of them puts corn starch in everything. Yes, you get a lot on your plate but come on, doesnt quality matter? Every dish tastes the same and theyre all bit on the greasy side.

This place is a great Chinese restaurant. They have a large assorted menu to choose from ranging from simple dishes like shrimp fried rice to shrimp with scramble egg. The food here also has great flavor but a couple of the dishes is a bit salty at times. Its great to come here during lunch time since they have value lunch price specials. The service here is good but not great. I do recommend this restaurant if you do plan t go with a group of friends or with family.

ALWAYS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT WITH THE FAMILY. GREAT FOOD ALWAYS FRESH AND AWESOME SERVICE!!!! THE WAITERS ARE ALWAYS POLITE AND VERY ATTENTIVE. I CANT SAY A BAD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE. AFTER ALL THEY KNOW MY DAD AND FAMILY (PERUVIAN OR BACA AS THEY CALL OUT MY DADS NAME WHEN WE WALK IN). WEVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR MANY YEARS. AND ITS WORTH THE LONG DRIVE. THANKS!!

This place is an old school type restaurant. the people here get to know you and the food is classic chinese style. The pan fried house noodle and fried pork chops are both delicious, as well as the various Fresh fish selections. Seriously try this place and take a step back to enjoy old school Cantonese type dishes.

Just passing by and feeling hungry, food came with large portion and looked fine, but didnt like them at all, two dishes were off in terms of the taste. Dont like to criticize much, we were both disappointed for the visit. Anyway we just move on to another restaurant next time in area and try our luck.

Food is decent but seems to be made from cheap ingredients. Its a little on the greasy side. Its inexpensive which explains why the place was crowded at lunch. I am allergic to MSG and there was no statement they cooked with it but I had an MSG allergic reaction after lunch.

Not too sure how I feel about this place. It is like one of those American Chinese dine-in restaurants that you see in old 80s movies. Also, the food here is a big hit with the older folks. Give it a try if you must but with my experience dont expect anything over the top.

Looks like this place has been here since 1997, so its lasted for a good few years . The food was ok in price and quantity . They do have plenty of free parking, but can get packed during peak dining hours . They do take reservation and can hold pretty good size groups .
