My favorite Thai restaurant in Costa Mesa. I am frequent visitor to this restaurant, about once or twice a week. Originally my sister found this place and we decided to go. Its conveniently located in the huge outdoor shopping plaza on Baker and Harbor. You will find it next to Full Moon Sushi. Parking is generally not an issue because theres plenty. I have only been here for lunch but looking forward to trying during dinner hours. Nimmarn offers daily lunch specials from around 11:00am - 3:30pm. I love how they accommodate people who like to later in the day. Lunch specials range from $7-9, which comes with an salad and entree. We have had many dishes and each of them have been delicious. Id have to say my favorites are Pad See Ew, Spicy Eggplant, Drunken Noodles, and Panang Curry. Just a quick tip, noodle dishes are not served with rice, but this is standard for most Thai restaurants. Also they will provide a complimentary Thai Tea with a $15 take out or delivery. The service is always exceptional. Every server is sweet, kind, and professional. I really like the effort and interaction they make with their guests. The combination of delicious food, atmosphere, and service keeps us coming back.

Gourmet Thai food. The green curry fried rice is excellent. In fact I prefer that over the Curry Three Ways (Curry Trio), because with the Curry Trio, you are putting curry on top of steamed rice, whereas the Curry Fried Rice has the curry mixed in nicely. Nevertheless, all of the different curries are delicious, with just subtle flavors of curry, not overpowering. The Tom Yum soup has nice robust flavors of hot and sour. Level 3 spiciness for the soup is still less spicy than your typical hot wing, so Id suggest spice level 5 if you want to even notice any heat. The Mongolian Beef was a bit disappointing with lessor quality beef in it. But thats not a typical Thai dish anyway. Theres Happy Hour until 7pm with drink and appetizer discounts everyday including weekends.

Visited this place with family for dinner! We ordered vegetarian food which was quite tasty. Drunken noodles were not too spicy n right for kids! Fried rice n red curry were good too. Service was delayed though, and waiter did not consider my 4 yr old to serve plates, spoon fork n napkins. Parking was easy n place was somewhat crowded, but we did not had wait time.

Thai is one of my favorite cuisines and I think Nimmarn has some of the best, at least outside of Thailand. Great service and friendly staff, its well worth a try. I recommend "Curry three ways" and the house "Drunken rice" And, if youve never had the chance, "Mee Krob" is amazing.

Their Tom Yum soup Sucks. Their tom yum ranks no 2 in the worlds worst tom yum list after royal Thai cafe in big bear. I can say that coz Ive been to Thailand 8 times and very familiar with authentic Thai food.
