I can only barely manage to give it a 3 star rating. The food is mediocre to average at best. Portions are small. If I hadnt ordered stuff on the side I would have walked away hungry. The seating is weird and doesnt work as a diner. Looks like an ex taco shop turned diner. Weird! What was good is the gravy has plenty of sausage in it. The orange juice was tasty and the bacon is good quality. The potatoes were dripping, oozing grease. Staff is polite enough. But the menu is hard to read with a bunch of ridiculous food names and breakfast spread out all over the map. Literally from the front to the back with lunch stuffed somewhere in the middle.

Came here a few weeks back with my boyfriend and we had such a great experience! The staff was very quick and friendly. We came in around 10:30 Am so there was a bit of a breakfast rush still happening, but we were instantly sat down and helped! Food came out within 15 minutes of being there max. Everything was delicious and portions were filling. And not to mention how inexpensive the menu was! So happy to have found a new breakfast spot that we will definitely be returning to. Nothing to complain about! Cow boy you guys are doing it right!! Thank you! Update: Still amazed with the quality of service and food. Such a attentive and kind staff here!

The food was phenomenal. The breakfast is served all day and looked incredibly appetizing, but I opted for the tombstone burger and I was not disappointed. It was perfectly spicy. And there were numerous other options which I would have been more than happy to try. It was clean, which is always important to me, and it was decorated wonderfully. There were more than a couple signs that literally had me laugh out loud. Great food, great atmosphere and great people. Definitely a must if you are in the Corona area.

The food is fantastic! I love that they have steak fries. When they say something has a spice/heat, it is actually there. And then there is the Stoner! Amazing! The place is small, and it is only open for breakfast and lunch. It is also a little bit hidden in the shopping center. And the menu can be intimidating with so many tasty options. But it is definitely worth the adventure. The decor is fun with all sorts of fun signs, pictures, and posters. And the staff is some of the friendliest around.

Interesting coffee shop with a unique menu. I miss the original owner who sold it a couple of years back, he really was a cowboy surfer - but the new owners are nice and preserved what was there for the most part. Food is good, mainly breakfast and lunch items. I usually order one of their "skillet" specials which are delicious. I dont remember the prices being unusually high or low, so I guess they are average. Sunday mornings they are packed so try to time your visit accordingly.

Came for breakfast and found a ton of menu options. My friend had the Cajun skillet and loved it. I went for a combo since I wanted to try the surfcakes. The surfcakes are cinnamon yummy (and huge). They had to push over a second table to make room for all our plates, I kid you not! The service was awesome. Coffee was great. No wait to be seated. And did I mention the prices? This place is easy on the budget. Some combos were around 5 bucks. Ill certainly be back.

Service was good. Not sure why the sign in from says "come for the food not the service." The waitress tried to give me more coffee 3 times and they checked on us at least 5 times. Food was great. Been trying to watch what I eat and the menu isnt really for those worried about calories or sodium. My girls were split. 1 gave 2 thumbs up and the other didnt like it, but she is kind of picky and her reviews are not very reliable. I would definitely come back

Extremely good food. I got the "Marvelous". Three eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuit and gravy. The biscuit and gravy is as good as my Moms was. I was raised in the Midwest. We ate a bunch of biscuits and gravy. I asked for my bacon and hashbrowns to be cooked lite. They did it perfectly. Very few people nowadays understand that. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Cool little place to eat.

Small and crowded. waited a long time to be seated. Wait staff came to take orders and deliver food and drop off the check only. Staff allowed a large group to stop and chat with a table next to us standing pretty much in our laps. Also a veggie egg white omellet was turned into a scramble looking watery and tater close to looking like some one was sick on the plate.

Loyal local following for breakfast, Cowboy Surfer is average overall. Its OK if youre not in a hurry and expect typical short-order cook "it fills the hole" diner type fare. Wider selection available at Hunnys close by (also short-order variety) or less choice but culinary farm-to-table quality at Blackburns on the west end of town.

I got the breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. I was full for the day. The place is a bit hidden but its a nice little place. The menu looks like the newspaper nice little touch. The OJ is good too. If youre tired of going to the basic IHOP and Dennys I recommend coming here. Try something new, you will love it.

Cowboy Surfer Grill hosted a car show event this evening with favorites on food, drink and above all - class. There next evening event is September 9th. Good job to all that worked from the Surfer to make us feel like family!!! Stop in for breakfast or luncj to get future details. Kevin Sanderson

The portions are very good sized to where I can usually eat only half the meal, unless you order something off the value menu then they are smaller. The owners and staff are extremely nice and friendly. They have a lot of unique sandwiches and a lot of choices for your sides. I Love this place!

The service wasnt super fast, but it was very welcoming. They dont try to get you in and get you out as quick as they can, unlike other establishments. The food was also top notch. The surf cakes are amazing and their surf bomb is just as good. I would definitely recommend it!

One of the most relaxing, laid back places to have breakfast or just drop by for a very good cup of coffee. Staff are super friendly, make you feel very welcome. Great location, too - right next to Vons and a Chevron gas station. I highly recommend it!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Decided to stop by while walking my dogs and they were kind enough to bring water bowls for them! Food was great... I especially liked the sourdough pecan pancake. Will definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere, staff, and most importantly FOOD! Everyone is like family here. Expect to make some friends with the people sitting next to you. I just wish this place were open later. Even till like, 5 or 6. Thatd be perfect.
