Daaaang. Everything we got = amazing....everything we didnt get, looked amazing still. We got a white chocolate biscotti, chocolate chip biscotti & a cinnamon- croissant-pretzel type thing drizzled in icing & chocolate. All delish, especially with coffee. Shop is quaint, staff is friendly and the variety of offerings was plentiful. Others not tried but spotted were: cannoli, napoleons, eclairs, croissants and more. Try it. Its also conveniently in the Carmel-by-the-sea shopping area.

Sehr große Auswahl an süßen Leckereien und auch ein Mittagsgericht wird angeboten. Der Kaffee war gut wenn auch in den amerikaüblichen Großportionen. Ein mittlerer Kaffee entspricht ca 0,4l!

I came in late at night with a sweet craving, not knowing what my options would be and was surprised to have so many treats to choose from. I went for a sugar cookie and my mate chose a chocolate cupcake. The sugar cookie wasnt too dry and had a nice lemon flavor. The cupcake was like a 10x better homemade version of the pre-packaged chocolate cupcakes you can buy in the store!

This place had some of the BEST smoothies Ive ever tasted. They put ice cream in their fruit smoothies! The blended coffee drinks can get too sweet, but I am usually more sensitive to sweets than most. So if you have a sweet tooth, it should be fine. The baked goods are good, but Im not a huge fan of pastries and stuff like that, so I wont consider myself a judge for this.

Small pastry shop with a seemingly never-ending line of locals, and in-the-know touristas, a great people-watching niche. They serve Starbucks coffee along with a stellar selection of mouth-watering fresh baked goods. Just try and resist the beckoning call of the front window display. Then walk off those yummy calories with a walk down Ocean Ave. to the beach on Carmel Bay.

Tasty ice cream, worst customer experience in a long time. Rude, loud and obnoxious female assisting customers. 10 minutes before 10 pm on Friday August 4th started cleaning up the shop and sweeping the floor while customers were still eating ice cream. When we complained she answered in the most unprofessional manner. I sure hope the owner reads this review.

I grew up with their soft pretzels being a wonderful treat and pretty much a required purchase when in town. Ive showed the place to many friends since then, and theyve all enjoyed various items on the menu. I still havent tried most of the menu, but everything I have tried has been delicious!

The bakery items were good, the ice cream and caramel apple were okay. The coffee drinks were average and the service was absolutely lousy. The servers were rude and acted as if they did not want to be there. They were sarcastic and acted as if the customers were a burden.

Food: - Cheddar broccoli soup - tasty, and creamy. - Sweet pretzel pastry - its actually a pastry in the shape of a pretzel; pretty flaky and covered with stripes of frosting and chocolate They have a lot of yummy looking pastry options. Its pretty crowded.

Terrible, find another. Overpriced, quality was bad. Tried sandwiches and bought pastries to take home. Hot Cuban sandwich was terrible. Pretzels were NOT crunchy and tasteless (bread like), scones were ok. Youre better off going to SaveMart or Safeway!

While walking along Ocean Ave I stumbled across this cafe. The menu selection looked great, including the desserts. The staff I dealt with had a great attitude which only makes me want to head back! My green tea was amazing!

Get here early before they start selling out of your favorites. Very high quality baked goods. Acceptable prices. Very busy and tight quarters make one feel as though you need to fight for your food as well as pay for it.

The best macaroons ever! Chocolate dipped and prepared to perfection. We took several home to share with family. We vacationed to Carmel for 3 days and we made this a nightly stop for ice cream and a macaroon.

Huge selection of pastry, cookies and breakfast items. Ice Cream was also nice. I accidentally spilled a cup of coffee at the cashier area and the staff was very gracious and helpful, super nice!

Food is sub par , and customer service is even worse. Absolutely no accommodations for people who are allergic to gluten or dairy, and rude staff who laugh at those in need of such special foods.

Order the cinnamon bun and have it toasted! Sooo delicious. Parking is always a challenge as this is located in Downtown Carmel. Coffee is great as well. Must visit when you are in Carmel.

Very quaint with a local feel. Pretzel was amazing, and we also treated ourselves with a few cookies and a huge chocolate cupcake. Its crowded, but the staff is quick and efficient.

Getting macaroons at the Carmel Bakery is one of the highlights of our trips to Carmel! they are moist inside and crispy on the outside. The chocolate chip is our favorite!

A gem in Carmel. Fantastic baked goods, sandwiches, and coffee/tea. Chai tea latte is not too sweet and the biscotti is perfect. The line was a bit long but moved quickly.
