So I agree with everyone who has a negative review. For the price, everything should be included instead of pick your toppings and protein. The ingredients were mid grade but there was no tonkatsus signature milky broth. I had the black garlic oil ramen, compared to others, this one simply had some black garlic flavored oil drizzled in to the broth. As for customer service, I was shocked at how the cook decided everything. The process goes that if the cook feels he is overwhelmed, he will tell the cashier/waiter to stop taking orders although there is s line in front of the cash register. This thought process confounded me to beyond comprehension. I will not be returning as I dont want to be the lucky contestant who got stuck because the cook orders the cashier to stop taking orders.

Bland. Tonkatsu broth was nearly flavorless had zero depth or richness. I got the spicy version which was certainly spice abundant but not throughout but on top of the bland broth. Noodles were thick but over cooked and lacking the chewiness youd expect. Egg was well cooked. Zero garlic to be had either as an option when ordering or afterwards. Never had ramen without it, typically its on the table while you eat at most ramen places in Japan. Needs lots of effort to improve.

This is our familys favorite restaurant. We go here about once a week and when we dont, we miss it terribly! Me and my 3 year-old daughters favorite is the black garlic oil tonkatsu ramen with tofu, egg, wakame seaweed and nori seaweed; my hubbys favorite is the spicy tonkatsu ramen with pork slices, bean sprouts, spinach and egg; my sons favorite is the berkshire sausages and we all love the BBQ pork bowls with rice in them and the sesame salad. Highly recommend!

Friendly service of food delivered in a reasonable amount of time. We enjoyed the Gyoza and Edamame (thanks for the extra bowl for discards). We had three variety of Ramen- we all felt our respective broths were a little light on flavor (missing the richness and depth of traditional broths, made from roasted bones and other classic Japanese aromatics). We also would have liked more noodles and toppings, to create a more satisfying, filling meal.

I thought Id try this new Ramen place since its near Rite Aid and Ralphs. The nice guy behind the counter suggested the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen. I added spinach, bean sprouts and chicken. The chicken was very tender and trimmed with no fat. I love the broth!! Its really tasty and the whole bowl is healthy and flavorful. Not long of a wait for my takeout. Im definitely going back for more! Finally a healthier option than Jack-in-the-box!!!

Overall, not impressed with this restaurant. I ordered tonkatstu miso ramen and it did not taste authentic. The right ingredients were there but that unique Japanese taste was missing, how disappointing . Also, the customer service was Terrible since we had to wait 10 minutes in line (we were number 2 in line) because the teller was missing. Unfortunately, I would not come here again or recommend this place.

The ramen only was served with a 1/2 of an egg instead of a whole egg, and 2 slices of pork instead of 3. For the price, I wouldnt expect that kind of mistake to be made. The server kept making bird sounds and then hiding... maybe to be funny? It wasnt. It was weird & messed with the atmosphere. Shrimp fritters were pretty tasty, and the creamy sesame dressing on the salad was delicious.

Best Ramen ever hands down and SUPER friendly staff, who helped my friend decide whats best hands down for him instead of him listening to me *haha* and he was stoked! Ive had ramen in a million places with my business travels, even in Asia and here they have the best true ramen Ive had in the US! Super stoked I have an awesome ramen home to binge on!

Spicy ramen was not good. Tasted like something I could cook. Cheap like top Ramen. quality was no good. This place is the quality of fast food Ramen. Do yourself a favor make the drive and go to Tajima off Convo. The ramen there is sooooo good its quality and what ramen should be, their spicy Ramen is delicious.

Not the best, but certainly far from the worst. The takoyaki seems deep fried or perhaps just over cooked. The ramen was good but not jaw dropping. Loved the egg, very glad they got that right since some joints mess that up. Overall a good place to eat but perhaps a bit overpriced for what they offer.

Classic ramen spot. The noodles and broth are on point. If you hear a loud slurper at the counter its probably me. Great selection of craft beer to accommodate your superb ramen experience. A little drive for me out here in Central San Diego but always stop by when im in the area.

Ramen was good. Glad to have a vegan ramen option in North county. Portion size is a little smaller than traditional ramen for the price. I had the miso ramen with tofu, seaweed, mountain vegetables, and green onions. Will try it spicy next time.

The beef bowl was definitely not good and the ramen subpar. The rice on the beef bowl tasted a bit like soap and the toppings on the ramen were cold like they just came out of the refrigerator. Even the pork. Beer prices are good though.

Tasty ramen. Simple and yet it tasted great. Staying was a little tough we my large party (4 adults, 3 teenagers and one baby in a stroller) but we made it happen. Everyone enjoyed their first time at this ramen spot.

its really bad! Not worth the money. feel like a fast noodle shop. We wait for extra noodles at least 20min to get them. The soup is already cold. They add 15% fee to your order in front.

Worth the wait. Epic noodles, broth, and other fixings. The side of roast pork was also incredible. Food also came around 2 mins after we ordered, which we appreciated after the line.

Overpriced, overpriced, and overpriced. Bland, low-quality noodles, and the broth was mediocre at best.
