I have never been to a worse restaurant. This place was highly recommended, however it has taken me several months to finally go. It was a nice warm SF day, so we opted to sit outside. Walking through the almost empty but extremely loud restaurant, we were seated on a patio with no other patrons, however the extended patio was full of young kids running around, screaming, knocking things over and opening restroom doors while people were inside. The parents and staff couldnt care less. Immediately after being seated the two tables next to us were occupied by two young couples with newborns that wouldnt stop crying. A few minutes later a large party of ~15 drunken bowling league members were seated and were very obnoxiously loud. A few were borderline belligerent already and they brought a six pack of cheap screwtop wines from the nearby BevMo with them, so obviously the situation would not be improving. After having finished our mixed greens salad which was swimming in dressing and our waiter nowhere in site, I turned to the hostess to be moved inside. However the noise level inside had not subdued and now almost every table had multiple babies and kids under 5, so I said cancel the pizza we would take our business elsewhere. A nearby server who heard nothing else and had no context said "Good, dont come back". My starving wife however suggested taking the order to go instead. The manager apologized and brought us our check, the server brought our pizza in a box. I still tipped him graciously, but ran out of there as quickly as possible, never to return. Upon getting home, the pizza was barely passable as food and had to be reheated. The sauce and crust were disgusting and the other toppings were nothing worth going back for. I feel sick to my stomach after eating it. My wife was saying it is not the restaurants fault, but it is. They allow kids to run around knocking stuff over, getting in peoples way and opening restroom doors. They allow staff to be slow and rude. They allow belligerent bowlers to bring more cheap wine. If I wanted a Chuck E Cheese environment, I would have gone to Chuck E Cheese, and the food was no better. It wasnt rubber on a plate, but it taste just as bad.

I relocated from the Chicagoland area and Ive been hunting around for a good pizza place to eat at in the bay area for awhile now. After a long stretch of eating at (severely) disappointing pizza places, Im immensely happy that I found Blue Line Pizza! In my 8 months of living here, this was the first pizza that I found that was even remotely a close reminder of what I miss so much back at home. When my server warned me that their deep dish took anywhere from 30-40 minutes to finish, I knew that I was in for a taste in authenticity! For folks from Chicago, Id say that the taste of the deep dish pizza here is most similar to Ginos East pizza (though its been 8 months, so my memory could be hazy...definitely wasnt Lou Malnatis though). Service was extremely friendly, and I left satisfied. Ill be coming back here often!

I have been a fan of this place since it opened about a year back. They have a pretty good location: right off Burlingame Caltrain on Burlingame Avenue in Downtown Burlingame! Damn, that was a lot of "Burlingames". Anyways, this place has indoor seating, patio seating in the back and also you can sit at the bar if you want. Ambience is pretty decent. Pizzas are as you can imagine, pretty amazing. My wife and I usually end up getting half white pie and half Margherita and its always perfect. The crust is always perfectly crisp and there is no dry crust to ruin your flavor. If you can handle spicy food, the roasted peppers are also pretty good.

Absolutely in love with their thin crust Italian pizza. Went in early evening, the place was quiet with a handful of patrons. The staff were friendly and all smiles! Makes you feel so welcomed. We ordered a take out, the wait for our pizza was about 15mins. Sufficient time to walk around to grab some other food or snacks such as Tpumps! When they handed the pizza over, the aroma was heavenly! We werent going to have the pizza immediately, roughly an hour later. We got it warmed up in the microwave. Often the microwave dries up the pizza, but no! It taste absolutely delicious. Every bite was juicy, flavorful and yummy. Love love it!

Deep Dish. Yes! Blue Lines deep dish pizza crust that has an awesome corn bread crust that is baked to perfection. I have enjoyed their pizzas in both their deep dish and think crust varieties. My favorites are the Blue Line special and their classic pizza. If you have a chance, order their roasted peppers as an appetizer; it comes with a super yummy goat cheese dip that compliments the peppers in such a way that your taste buds are pleasantly surprised. If you love Little Star, Zacharys, youll fall in love with Blue Line.

Unfortunately I gave it 4 stars due to the service. For the most part its been good when weve gone but sometimes (including this last time) where they got overwhelmed with take out orders and several orders, including my own, werent taken down and so after having to wait 30 or so minutes for the order, we were left without any food and only offered a discount on a new order if we wanted to wait yet another 30 minutes. I think if they do a better job with the service part, this would get my 5 star approval.

Great place. Luckily caught it on happy hour. Half price apps and $2 off draft and glass of wine. Had a thin crust and a thick crust. Thin crust is typical Chicago thin style with crispy edges. Good quality topping. Of course, you come for the deep dish. I like their deep dish It holds its shape without being tough. The ragu has good tomato flavor and very chunky like it should be. Again ingredients are good quality. Service was good.

Great pizza place! My girlfriend and I stopped by this location last saturday afternoon and it was a real treat. Burlingame is beautiful and full of great restaurants and this one if no exception. We ordered a large deep dish pizza and an appetizer and it was a lot of food for the two of us, so much that we actually took a little over 1/2 of the pizza home. They have a small covered outside area, overall great restaurant!

Its decent enough, ok? The staff is a wee bit slow when it comes to attending to client needs as you can sit there for over 6 minutes with an empty beer and barkeep is busy doing, well, umm. Not sure what he/they were up to. And this is 445pm at the BAR on a Friday...2 other guests at bar so dont think they were slammed or anything. Chicken wings were baked vs fried but really quite good.

A nice place to get "authentic" deep dish pizza? How authentic? It takes 40+ minutes to cook, from when you order, so plan on staying a while. A decent beer selection, both draft and bottled. Great salads, a large can easily feed two. And when you finally get your pizza, I hope you brought your stomach. Its amazing and quite filling.

Family friendly pizza place. My wife likes the thick crust pizzas as they remind her of home (Chicagoland) and the thin pizzas are very popular with kids. Blue Line can accommodate party groups, weve done a few parties and soccer team meals here. They have a small but good wine and beer list. You can do take-out too.
