Coming from Disneyland, we arrived here after searching for a Korean BBQ place that stays open late. They close at 11pm, we arrived about about 9:40 pm. I was obviously not welcome at such a late hour, which I understand but giving off the negative vibes were not really necessary. Anyways, I told the server not to worry because I will be leaving ASAP. And we did, we left even before all the early customers left. I just thought it was not necessary to push out customers from their entrance, if its going to like dont open til 11 PM. I did not really enjoy their food. The seafood soup that comes with their combination A is MSG soup with variety of cheap vegetables, shrimp, small pieces of octopus (nak-ji) and etc. I didnt enjoy it. Most importantly, the thin slices of the 8 different flavors of pork belly were average. I, personally, enjoy thicker pieces of pork belly without all the different flavors. The reason this place has a lot of yelp reviews and no google reviews is because they give 10% discount to people that write reviews for them. I find the Yelp reviews un-dependable.

Korean BBQ with a slight twist- a heaping sampling (oxymoron?) of eight different preparations of pork belly. Granted thats just one item weirdly-placed in the back of the menu, but its intended as the star of your main course. The usual suspects of supporting roles are plentiful and of good quality (i.e. kimchi, rice, and other fermented whatnots served on cliche stainless steel bowls) and the bulgogi is also pretty good. Service is prompt, but you may occasionally have to do the prompting yourself, for they are extremely busy running around and putting out raw (but well-marinated!) meats and adjusting flames left and right. KBBQ is supposed to be a casual affair with friends anyway, but an extra server on hand wouldnt hurt.

Like restaurant name, you can try eight flavors of Pork belly such as wine, original, ginseng, garlic, Herb, curry, bean paste, red pepper paste. If you eat those pork belly with kimchi, bean sprouts, mushroom and seafood soup, it will taste good. 8 flavors are in one set at $49.99 and if you order One more flavor, you need to add $6.50. Pork belly quality is really good and the soup has a hearty flavor. If you need more broth, you can request to pour more broth. Also, after eating whole soup, you can ask to make fried rice with that broth. Its really delicious and this is my favorite. Weak marinated pork bellys are better such as wine, Ginseng, garlic etc.

I went there today, great service and clean interior but the food was a bit disappointing.. The soup that came with course A(the basic) was really blend.. it turned out okay as it boiled, but it had no flavor compared to meat. The 8 different flavored pork belly had its own ups and downs. Personally, as a Korean, liked the garlic, regular, and soy sauce. The other flavors were either too strong or too blend. For example, ginseng and wine was no different from the no flavor kind. Another example, the herb, curry, was too strong for myou family. The bokmbab was really good. And that is~ Would I go there agian, noo.. but it was okay. Was cool to try out.

Eight different kinds of pork belly were so good! We substituted the army soup instead of the bean paste soup and that was good too. If you order the one main combo, its perfect for four people. I came with three and there were lots of leftovers.

The hostess cooks the food for you! Comes with soap and they use the left over to make fried rice for you! The meat is marinated in a unique and different way. Definitely will recommend to try if you get a chance!

Great place for meat lover, not so much vegetarian option here. Parking pretty limited. Service is okay . Reservations taken only until 6pm. The place is always crowded, so iI recommend getting a reservation.

Worse quality than one in Koreatown. Worse service than one in Koreatown. They need to properly train servers again.
