Came on a Tuesday where their special was Buy one entree get a second entree of equal or lesser value for half off and ordered a cheeseburger with curly fries (+ $1), a teriyaki burger with cheese (+1), and drink which came out to $20. What I noticed while ordering food they had a bunch of pre-made burger trays piled neatly on the counter, and what I mean by that there were already toppings in them. Basically when you receive your burger the lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato is on the side and you add what you want into your burger. I know certain foods need to be kept at certain temperatures so I dont know when it comes to that. They brought us our food and the burger was cooked how I wanted it (medium well), it was really good as it was. The curly fries were cold T__T and not as seasoned as I was expecting. As for my friends burger and fries, he was satisfied. Still for $20 and this was including the discount, it was kind of not worth it, DEFINITELY not worth it at full price. I have to say the service was great, take the cheeseburger, and leave those room-temperature toppings out ^^ Happy eatings!!

First a warning: This place is a favorite of the Berkeley High School crowd, so if you need to get in and out this isnt the place to be while they are out in force for lunch. A good basic burger joint that stands out because the food is fresher and the location larger than most places youll find. They have a good selection of pre-planned options. The food itself is basic, the buns are run-of-the-mill and a bit dry and the meat tends to be cooked very well done (and a bit tough). Id say in a head to head competition this places takes a second after Fudruckers but its a good option if you are down town and want a bite.

The burgers are big, juicy and very tasty. The shakes are nice and thick, but the thing I think Burgermiester does best are their sweet potato fries. Theyre the best in the downtown area, but if you think some place else has better, please let me know; Im always open for suggestions. Great place to catch a game at lunch as well. It doesnt get as crowded as Triple Rock, so if youre looking for a place to watch the World Cup, Euro Cup, Cal Athletics or the Olympics, Burgermiester is a good place to catch the games.

We tried to decide what to eat hanging around and seen they had some daily specials thru out the weeks, so we gave it a try and am glad that we did! For fries being regular they were really good and my teriyaki burger came out good as well. It was cool they left the condiments on the side because forgotten to ask about what they place on the burgers. Interested in trying their shakes next time hopefully.

Welcome to the $12-15 burger disguised as a $8.50 burger. Go to TruBurger on Telegraph if you can. My medium-rare burger was almost raw, I thought the ciabotta roll would rescue it but that was nothing special and the crunchy mozzarella sticks were just okay. They do have craft draft beer.

Avoid at all costs. So many better options in Downtown Berkeley these days. Took 15 minutes to make a single burger in the middle of the afternoon when the restaurant was mostly empty. Burger arrived made wrong. Sent it back. 15 more minutes and finally my food arrives. Terrible.

Went to the Berkeley site for lunch today, first they forgot I wanted bacon, had to correct ticket, also forgot that it was to go. Then when I got the burger, bacon was raw so I had to send it back. Oh and I wanted my burger med-rare, it came out well done.

the veggiemiester made me VERY sick 3 hours after eating it. i dont know if it was the burger or the aoli sauce (my wife only ate 1/3 of her burger and didnt get nearly as sick as I did but didnt touch the sauce). either way, im definitely not going back.

Just not the same quality and experience from the first time I ate at one of the SF locations 15 years ago and the years immediately following. Our orders were all wrong, the food was so-so, and the bathroom was pretty gross.

Solid, tasty burgers with fresh toppings. Spring salads are generously sized. Balsamic vinaigrette was a bit tart. Id recommend the shakes over the brownie sundae. (They should really have heat up the brownie for us.)

Not the best or worst just simply a burger joint near UCB. Conveniently located within steps of Bart. Spacious interior allows for bigger groups. There are HH specials also. Wait time depends on how busy place is.

When I have gone here, the food is great, but some of the cashier are rude, not approachable, and see the food on the hot plate but will not deliver when asked. Great food, needs to improve on service.

Really poor steak salad. Actually, gross. Do you like ground beef green salad with tons of vinegar on top of wilted lettuce? Thats what you get and they dont care. The price? $10 bucks. Forget it!
