This is one of those Chinese restaurants, where the menu is in English only. They serve a very limited selection of Northern style food. They had a spring roll that was identical to the one I had in boarding school in London. I lived in Belmont for 17 years. Never visited until now. Went there partly because Peter claims that I try new stuff, partly because the restaurant I was aiming was closed that day.

I am so sad to hear that the original owners are retiring. I have been going here over 20 years for the best Chinese food in the Bay Area! I have even traveled over an hour just go eat here! I hope the new owners maintain the same great food and service.

I am always surprised if I enter this restaurant and it is not full. They do a great take out and the food is very fresh and tasty. The vegitables are crunchy and perfectly cooked. I am getting take out tonight! can not wait!...

Dont come here if you are looking for authentic Sichuan food. This is American Chineses food, missing almost all traditional Sichuanese dishes. Having said that, food is decent, service is good.
