This place was so unkind and clueless about CA law making it legal for dog owners and patio access. We were in Auburn on business with our wonderful Aussie Shepherd, and, desperately hungry, thought the patio in deep shade was so inviting. We were turned away in the most unfriendly way possible, in spite of the state law that allows dog owners to have their dogs with them on the patio. It was 3 in the afternoon and No one else was on the patio, and it was intensely hot...too hot for the pup to stay in the Car. We were told in that very smarmy fashion that we were welcome to stay but the dog would have to be parked outside their fenced patio...in the direct heat and no shade at all. Needless to say, we were no longer interested in eating there, EVER. A place that was so unwelcoming, so unhumane and so unfamiliar with the actual state laws cannot be trusted for compliance on any other matter. What a pity for you guys, because we were scouting for places to hold business meetings for frequent trips to the area. So you lost our business not only for one day, but all the repeat business. And the ditzy blonde unfriendly waitress...too bad for you, because Ive been in service and tip really, really well when the service is good. It was too hot to keep looking, so we drove all the way back to Oakland unfed and unimpressed. Ill be conducting my biz elsewhere on future trips through the area.

I love tre Pazzi. The food is great and the atmosphere is super mellow. Sometimes, there is a short wait for dinner, but its worth the effort. The wine list is great and there are many reasonably priced bottles. The pasta is fantastic and though they dont call themselves a pizzeria, they have the best pizza in Auburn. Pizza choices are limited and they offer only one size, but so tasty! I am really glad they opened because there are so few good dinner restaurants here, and this adds one more great option. Finally, we dont have to travel up the hill or down the hill for good Italian food.

We are from Boise, Idaho and did not know the area well at all. We stumbled upon this place and it was as if we were dining right in Italy. Its small but cozy and the atmosphere suites the size. We will definitely come back next time we visit. The employees were friendly and kind and the food was absolutely incredible. Happy we found this place❤️

All locals here know how much we need more great restaurants... tre Pazzi answered. The food is phenom, the service is great. Couldnt be happier with what theyve done. Honest to goodness traditional Italian cuisine! If youre pesto fan, you must try the mostaccioli al pesto.... best Ive had. Thanks tre Pazzi!

Cozy and good! Authentic Italian food in style of Umbria. Very reasonable prices. Only Italian beer and wine! Best Polo Aroasto ever! Small outside area in good weather. Everything on menu I have tried is very good!! Great salads. Great bread! Great place for a special date!

Great food I had the lasagna my wife at the seafood platter Gary the owner and host is always there to share his stories of his trips to Italy great wine you need to try the Santa Christina Pinot Grigio service was great and the meal was excellent

What a great place, Nik our waiter was vary vary good, food was awsome, wine was the best. We had such a great dinner expereiance. You will love it, if you dont like this place you just cant be pleased. Try the veal scaloppini, its really good.

I went here for my birthday with 3 others and the food was absolutely delicious and I loved the authentic Italian vibe. The service was a little questionable at certain points, but not bad enough to make me like this place any less.

Great food, and they cater to those of us whore gluten challenged. Best restaurant in Auburn, some of the best Italian food Ive had outside of Italy. Ambiance is pretty nice and theres outdoor seating .
