Seriously. I love their spicy and salty chicken app. However this is the second time that I have felt ill vibes at Old Peking. So last weekend, after much time had passed since last horrid visit, I went in and was seated right away. A young Caucasian couple came in a few minutes later, they were seated in the booth directly behind me and my daughters. No waitress yet. Then a few minutes even later, two Asian young women were seated across from our table, still no waitress. Immediately a waitress attended the young Asian women, It was so fast one of my teenage daughters stated "they havent even looked at the menu yet" A few minutes later, a waitress was attending the young couple behind our table. My table....still no waitress. I got up, calmly went to the cashier and asked to speak to the Manager. When he arrived, I was so upset that I asked him to step outside to discuss the matter,as I no longer wanted to even be in this place.Once outside, his reasoning for this service or the lack thereof, was that "the waitress that was assigned to our table(pointed her out) had a large party at another table". I am sorry TUCSON but this is not acceptable as she had passed by us twice while we were seated and not once uttered a word. He offered to take 10% off what ever I ordered. I told him thanks but no thanks. I did not want a discount, I wanted Mongolian beef from old peking, and decent service.I have never felt that I was being treated differently because of my race (black) until these old peking experiences. I had a similar experience there about 7 months ago, it felt that way then, My husband and I left without ordering on that occasion, we didnt mention it, other than to each other. Feeling that maybe I was mistaken, I decided to try again, But this time my kids witnessed this, It was horrible. I wont be back. I dont care how good their food is, no one deserves bad treatment.

Their service is suck! 1. We do wait for a long time even there was not lot of people. 2. My friend wanted change a new plate that was not clean, than the waitress just say" you have your bowl why not use that, you dont need a plate at very bad attitude. Then she just slipped two plates to my friend "you just choose a clearer one on a irony tone. 3. We wanted add a dish when we were eating but a waitress just say Im not your waitress to find someone else! In a very rude tone. I waited more than 10mins no one come. When I told her on the second time she just directly curse me and when her manager came she still not stop cursing and irony. I understand the restaurants are busy but it cannot be a reason to treat customers at that rude way! In Tucson this restaurant is not only choice. I and my friends wont go there any more!!!

The stupid woman taking the order was rude, she didnt take the order correctly. I ordered extra rice, she ignored that request. I also ordered a large coke. She ignored that as well. $22 wasted with no drink. You should call back and have the idiot that just took your order repeat it back to you on the new call just to insure they actually took your order. This would have been a 1 star review if the driver hadnt gone out of his way and just picked me up a drink at circle k and brought it back to me without being asked to. I feel bad that I know he paid for it out of pocket, I still gave him a good tip because Ive been there delivering pizza. The driver was beyond awesome, the lady taking the order seemed disinterested in the first place and didnt take the order correctly.

The food was made incorrectly, marginal, and delivered in twice the quoted delivery window of 45 minutes. After waiting 2 hours, the delivery driver called me as i requested because my building needs internal access after hours, and he called me 10 minutes before showing up to make up time on deliveries. More than 2 hours, the wrong food, no updates of any kind on status. The person taking orders couldnt understand me when I tried to order a doctor pepper, which i repeated 4 times before giving up and getting green tea. For 2 meals, 1 green tea, and egg rolls, was 26.77. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Ive dined in a couple times, but most of my experience has been large takeout orders for the company I work for. Food is consistently great every time. And for every dish. In my opinion, they have the best lo-mein in town, as well as sesame beef/chicken. Theyre general Tsos chicken is alright (im still searching for the best). They are quite fast even with the large orders weve placed (I think 30 mins for 6 dinner boxes + 2 noodle/rice boxes + a few sides like egg rolls). And they are comparably priced to other Chinese restaurants. Of the 10 or so Chinese sit-down/buffets ive tried...this is by far the best overall.

This place is VERY AUTHENTIC chinese food.... So if youre looking for more americanized dishes such as the ones you can get at panda express or pf chang, you should stay away from this place. I was born and raised in China and loooooove this restaurant. Many Chinese students here frequent this place for their weekend gatherings. The water boiled fish is excellent but very spicy. The duck lettuce wrap is to die for. The mongolian beef and shrimp combination plate (dont know what its actually called) is also excellent. We ordered way too much food (2 appetizers and 4 hot dishes for 4 people) and had leftovers for 3 days.

WONT GO BACK! Terrible service, terrible food. Called to order takeout, told they had no drivers that day and before I could say Id pick it up, they hung up on me. Had to call back to place an order. Picked the order up and found that three stacked large styrofoam containers had leaked all over each other with sticky sauce, making a complete mess. Opened the containers to find food was not good either. Crispy tofu was soft, spicy chicken was bland, only thing done right was the rice which anyone can do right.

I had my wife ordered sesame chicken, 1/2 hour before I could get to the restaurant to take out, I had to wait 45 minutes more when I got there. I saw food out for delivery, I saw people on tables have their food served before mine. I wanted to let the manager my dissapointment, but the hostess refused to call him. Very dissapointed. I supported them with my wallet, I will take my business and recomendations somewhere else.

can honestly say we have eaten there repeatedly===today was the worse---to say the waitress was in a bad mood was like to say Dracula only eats from 7 til 8pm==horrid waitress---shame on her---and she is Chinese, to boot..she got our take out order wrong--was ungracious serving lunch to us--very disappointed...and we do go for the soup..I guess I will get recipe and make it myself--who needs disrespect?......

Hands down the best Chinese food in town. Location is lacking ambiance and in serious need of redecorating. Its a hit or miss regarding friendly staff. Some are wonderful while others just are awful. But even with those negatives this is still the only place we eat Chinese food in town. The food quality and portions are just that worth it
