We were one of two couples in the restaurant later on a Wednesday evening so obviously the service was great. But overall this place was very good. Authentic Italian food that was all homemade! Meatballs were moist and tender with a great sauce. Split a Carmela pizza. The wood fired crust was thin but delicious. Perfect for two lighter eaters but no leftovers. Owner treated us to a homemade amaretto for desert... FANTASTIC! Price was reasonable for what we received. Only disappointment was that their espresso machine was broken :( Although its a little off of the beaten path, its a great place for some specialty pizza and good company.

This is one of those little out of the way places… so easy to drive by without ever noticing. But, luck had me walk in to find a true first class old world dinning experience. First rate all the way, from the pride they take in their product... to their in house baked bread, the olives they brine and season from stock shipped in from Italy, open oak fired pizza that was wonderful, good wine and at a surprisingly reasonable price. If you are looking for quality over pretense, you need to check it out this place!

Wow! Best pizza in PHX! Feel a little guilty eating the whole thing and not leaving leftovers for tomorrow. Cool atmosphere with no frills, all the energy is put into a terrific product! And Bill is a great guy to talk and converse with! Glad I stopped here before I head back to Minnesota.

Absolutely fabulous service and food! After being disappointed by other spots recommended for tourists like us, we asked Google for help and landed at Il Bosco and couldnt have been happier. Food was fresh, authentic and perfectly created. Would come back anytime were in the area!

Love this place! Very cozy mom and pop owned Italian restaraunt. Best thing on the menu is their uniquely-topped-wood-fired thin crust pizzas. The atmosphere is very quiet and quaint with a modern yet rustic cafe feel. Definitely makes you feel like youre on an Italy countryside.

Not your run-of-the-mill pizzeria. Fresh, inventive, delicious pies, menu always changing, friendly service. Biggest problem is sometimes getting a table or a seat in this small venue. Well-worth trying.
