Overall this place is pretty decent and I recommend it along wirh their sister restaurant up the road on Shea. I have never had a bad meal here and the food is always tasty and hot. There are two negatives and they both keep me from going more often. The wait times, even in summer, are intolerable and I have never been seated faster than 25 minutes. I am happy for them but the simple fact of the matter is that some of us have lives, too, and I just cannot endure those kinds of wait times. Second, and perhaps most irritating, is that the tables are jammed so closely together that you can hardly walk between them. It is irritating to have some persons rear end brush by the back of your head as you eat. Again, food is very good. The other aspects of the restaurant not so much.

I tried Butters for the first time today, NOT IMPRESSED. I was VERY simple only ordering their "Cajun Chicken Sausage" and hash browns that I usually like cooked soft, however was informed they are only cooked one way not too crispy not soft. I was excited to have a breakfast spot so close to where my job just moved and was eager to taste this Cajun sausage. I received 3 pieces short fat pieces of greasy under cooked meat links with NO "Cajun" flavor ANYWHERE. I called back to ask if I has gotten the correct thing and was described what the food should look like, and when I mentioned there is NO CAJUN flavor to the links I was told "If you dont like the taste we cant help that". Really! For 7 bucks and change for the two items I received, WAS NOT WORTH IT! Ill pass.

Pretty standard breakfast restaurant that provides the classic breakfast dishes. Very friendly staff and reasonable pricing. I had the corned beef hash skillet with over easy eggs and sourdough toast. It was enough food that I didnt finish, which isnt very typical and for only $9.45, so its affair trade in my opinion. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as the potatoes, perfectly golden with those crunchy bits that bring out a good potato flavor. The corned beef was a little mutilated for me, it almost like it was ground it was so finely chopped and although it was good, it couldve had a little more flavor, maybe some green chiles or just some onions in the mix of things to give it a bit of zing to it.

Let me take you on the experience. The wait was just about any other sit down restaurant. When they called us to be seated and we ordered and the food came faster then a descent wait at McDonalds. It is nosy got to give to you but you can still hear your own conversation. The staff is always on the go and they know what they are doing. They are quick at sweet. The food was so good. I got to taste all my families food so I got a feel of everything. The crepes are your average crepes. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The hash browns are decent. Let them know you want them cooked a little longer. The pancakes are delicious! Fluffy and good. I had an amazing experience! I was in and out with no rush.

First issue involved the hostess, who carried five menus back to sit our group at a table of four. She then seemed confused as to why we werent seating and inconvienenced that wed need a new table, rather than apologetic for the confusion. Second issue involved the waitress. When asked if the breakfast potatoes could be cooked crispy, she responded that they only cook them one way. Leaving potatoes on the grill longer hardly seems like an inconvenience and something that should easily be accommodated. Unfortunately not here. Food was average otherwise, but considering the service, there are better options for our family.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Would highly recommend the orange juice since its freshly squeezed. Service was great it was as if they had microphones at the table listening to what we were going to order and had it super fast. This place was almost too perfect ... now that I am thinking about it there had to be something wrong right?? I cant find it! Am I in the matrix ? Is this all in my head? If it is Ill take it. Irish eggs benny was awesome. Bathroom had 2 ply also so you know this place is good.

Worst experience ever! Be prepared to wait endlessly, be talked to like a dog, and watch as other customers are treated the same. I watched as the manager refused to let a Dr order his food in advance, to-go, so that he could meet a patient; "its policy" he says to the doctors wife. Couldnt talk to the manager myself since he was busy screaming at other customers. Somebody will remind the manager that this is not the northeast. Ill stay with the Breakfast Club in old town.

A great place to have breakfast. I ate there with my wife on a Tuesday morning -- no waits and our server (Regina) was wonderful. The banana cream French toast was every bit as good as it sounds. I had to take a picture of it, and Im told many others do the same. The bill was $26 + tip, and we were happily full when we left. Butters didnt quite make me want to move to Phoenix (it was 110 outside after all) but I sure wish theyd open a restaurant here in Seattle!

Dont waste your money or your time. This is a not a family friendly cafe. If you have small children DO NOT BRING THEM TO THIS PLACE. The manager was rude and unfriendly. They had open boxes of oranges on the floor next to our table. My 3 touched one of the oranges and he yelled at my son and told my husband that he has to sanitize the whole box of oranges. Just flat out rude. I will not be back and would warn other not to waste the money.

I went here for breakfast. By far they have the better regular and cheese grits I have ever had. Their pancakes are so light and airy. They also have great syrup as well. Their hashbrowns were delicious and different from other restaurants. They where like scalloped potatoes that where then cooked like regular ones on the grill top. Good portions. The regular coffee was also delicious. Definitely going back!

My favorite breakfast place in Scottsdale. Casual dining with fast and courteous service. During the weekday you can easily grab a nice lunch in 45 minutes. On the weekends, particularly in the winter, expect a long wait for a table since they tend to be slammed. They do have excellent take out service. Only a few booths and the space is a bit tight. Parking can be a challenge on the weekends.

Wow! Great place. Worth every penny and more. The staff is extremely attentive, decor is fresh and the coffee alone is worth going. Starbucks has nothing on them. It is strong and flavorful. The food came quick and the cheese grits are to die for. It is an excellent place overall. Price point is great as well good food good price. Anything you order you wont be disappointed.

My husband & I went to have breakfast with no expectation because it was so busy. They took our order after browsing the menu & food came out lightning fast! Great Service continued to make sure we were happy & in need of anything else. The lox & bagel was fab & skillets were super delicious. Pricy but well worth the money. We will be returning again when in the area.
