This is my "go-to" coffee place. I am not fancy when it comes to my coffee, and I am one of those strange transplant residents from the east coast that consistently orders a hot cup even when it hits 120 degrees in August. I have found the coffee to be a nice quality, not too bitter and not over-roasted, but my heart lies in buzzberry bake goods. Made daily, I have been forced to ration myself to "Muffin Mondays" for fear that I may put on many pounds if I dont. I am presently 8 and a half months pregnant, and I think my baby may be partially constructed of these muffins. They are huge, amazing, and most of all, taste like they are made from scratch, because they are! An additional bonus, the people who work here are friendly and kind, and their loyalties card makes it easy to get a free coffee fairly regularly. I have also eaten their breakfast sandwiches, and their lunch salads. Lets just say this place could also be called giant buzzberry, as the portions here are consistently huge. If I get a breakfast sandwich in the morning, I will not be hungry until mid-afternoon, and the last time I ordered a salad I split it over three lunches. Overall, this is my favorite coffee place in the metro Phoenix area. My only criticism would be the in-house serving-ware and seating choices could use a bit of a upgrade.

We wont be back!! Used to be a good place but they have become a flaky coffee shop that closes whenever they feel like it. The past 10 times weve been there, at least 7 of those closed earlier than the current hours at the time after we had been there. We have been going here once/twice a week for at least a year and would almost always order dinner, cookies, and coffee each time. Well last time is what broke the camels back, after the past few times of that place closing earlier and earlier... The last time they said they closed at 10 so we were expecting them to close at 10 when we got there, well all of a sudden the sign on the counter said they closed at 9pm on Sundays (it was sunday. I was so mad because we drove all the way out there and on Google it still says 11 btw but we expected them to close at 10 because thats what they said the new hours were last time. We we sat down ordered dinners and everything and then just a few minutes later at 7:30, the girl said that they were closing at 8 tonight!! I asked her why and she said its because the business is slow tonight! We just bought 3 dinners, 2 cookies, and 3 coffees and we dont count?? This place is gonna close down because they dont care about their customers! Theyve just lost 2 regulars and their friends...

I go here from time to time, as their smoothies are delicious. However, Ive tried several different meals and other food items and have been consistently disappointed. The quality of food is poor, which wouldnt be a huge deal if it wasnt disgustingly over priced. They justify high prices by being open 24 hours/day, but in reality they probably do terrible business between the hours of 10-6 and could easily close like a normal place and charge reasonable prices. If the food was delicious like a traditional mom & pop restaurant should be, I would have no problem paying a premium. Instead they cut corners and use low grade ingredients to increase their profit margin, so they can afford to staff the place around the clock. Seems like the owners need a lesson in supply and demand... I hope they read this and understand that there are probably a lot of people like me who would eat at their restaurant multiple times per week if they just either increased the quality of their ingredients, or lowered their prices.

Atmosphere - Poor, felt uncomfortable inside, could not have left to soon. Outside - non descript In strip mall. Does not have much curb appeal, not quite certain of the cause for it. The neighborhood area appears good. I felt safe outside as entering. Staff very friendly. Food - mediocre I had 2 separate muffins. Unfortunately, appearance was great. I asked if the muffins if they may be dry? I was told they were just made that morning on the 11th.... It was now 1:23am. Guess what? Dry crumby, possibly the worst baked goods I have ever had. Chocolate chip and apple strudel were the 2 muffins I requested. Im not certain, but I believe they were made around 4am, I was there at 1:15 am on the 12th. Time in glass case would have been roughly 24 hours. Most places eliminate old products, especially baked goods.n Glad I tried most likely not returning. Oh well glad I tried it out.

What a joke, I really wish I had read the reviews before I stopped here but I was traveling I was hungry and I needed a shot of espresso. Im the only one in here 20-minute wait for a turkey sandwich with 2 oz of meat on it and then the girl never brings my coffee out takes her hair down wanders around tells me shes off duty and leaves. I asked for mustard on my sandwich I got nothing on it. Half a slice of avocado for an extra dollar. When a sandwich is supposed to come with spinach on it three little leaves on the whole sandwiches not spinach on my sandwich its a joke. This place is probably great with high school kids. Then I asked the other girl for my coffee and she goes answers for customers at the window before she makes mine another 10 minutes of my life wasted. At least the girl that finally did help me was very nice and pulled a really good shot of espresso I was impressed.

Not bad but not outstanding. The Sunday omelet bar experience - eating in - is diminished by its being served in a tacky Styrofoam to-go container with tiny plastic tableware but the omelet itself was tasty. Real dishes and silverware would be a nice touch, to say the least. They could also add some fancy cheese options to the standard food-service shredded blend and the accompanying croissant definitely falls into the miniature category. Omelet is served with potatoes au gratin, a great change from hash browns or fries. Good strong "regular" coffee, nice atmosphere and clean comfortable seating at tables, easy chairs and couches. Dairy-free smoothies leave me wanting yogurt but still worth it. Vale de pena.

I really want to like this place because it is right across the street, but everything time I give it another chance Im disappointed. For the quality of the food the place is a little over priced. It is basically food you can make at home. Although this place has a really cute atmosphere, the coffee was cold once, the soup was way too salty another, and today the eggs were cold in my breakfast burrito. One time my boyfriend and I went through the drive through and when he picked up his coffee to take his first drink the lid popped right off and spilled in his lap. The cup was too thin and cheap. Im never going back here again.

So far, I really enjoy this place. Ive only been twice, but I plan on returning as much as possible! My family and I have lived around the corner for almost three years, and im kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Silly us. Weve only had a smoothie, hot chocolate (for the Little), and coffee. All of which have been great, as well as the banana bread, and my dog loves the buzzbones! The service has always been exceptional. All smiles, friendly hellos, and very quick to serve our order. I am so happy this is within jogging/biking distance! We may be Saturday or Sunday regulars!
