I just walked in on a whim of curiosity not more than fifteen minutes prior to writing this. The man working there was very friendly and answered all of my questions- I had a lot, as Ive never been to Puerto Rican bakery and I wasnt even aware that this was a Puerto Rican bakery upon my visit. I bought a coffee and some kind of pastry that I cant remember the name of. Its filled with cream cheese and has a soft, flakey crust with bits of sugar and honey coating the outside. This is the most delicious pastry Ive ever had, and Im an exceptionally finicky sweets eater- as I normally only indulge in quality chocolate. I already cant wait to go back and get another and some to share with my family! The coffee really blew my mind though. Its so smooth I drank it hot and without sugar in this 110 degree summer heat! Not even a hint of bitterness. Im so happy I took a chance on this charming hole in the wall! Ill be happily returning soon.

Ben the owner had superior customer service and the product was very very high quality. The man is able to build any custom cake that you desire at a conservative price. I will definitely be doing business with him again and you wont be dissapointed if you do as well.

Just happened on this small spot, looking for breakfast pastries. Surprised to find so many tempting options baked on site! Very friendly service. Everything beautiful and delicious. Sandwiches & coffee, too. Puerto Rican bakery in Phoenix ... who knew?!
