Ach du lieber! Diese Bäckerei hat gutes Essen. Die Pumpernickel Brot ist besonders gut. Sie haben eine große Auswahl an Rittersport Schokolade und Strudel. Unfortunately Old Heidelberg Bakery does not sell kinder-eggs because they are forbidden in the U.S. due to the possible choking hazard (only in the land of the free).

I would sell David Hasselhoffs soul for a bag of their pretzel croissants! Sooo delicious! Their other baked goods are great as well, especially the strudels. There is a small grocery section that sells my favorite German black currant juice as well as candies and food products that I havent seen since my last trip to Germany.

I dont get to go often because of the drive but OMG, this place is the closest thing to home. Their pretzels and laugenbroetchen are TO DIE for. If they were down the street from me i would go daily, in the very least weekly...Thats it...I am going this Saturday or maybe even friday. I LOVE THIS PLACE

If youre jonesin for NY rye, Old Heidelberg is the only game in town. Bar none. Planned on cooking pork bellies tonight (Asian style) and needed some pork fat. Wouldnt you know it? This bakery sells that too. Looking forward to multiple return trips!

Great authentic German pretzels, rolls, bread, pastries, sausages and a great offering of German food products and sundries. We love this place. When they are gone theres no more genuine old-style German baking in Phoenix.
