I had just flown in to town and needed something to eat. Was told the food was good, so my friend and I decided to try it. First, took quite a while for our server to make it to our table to get our drink order. We looked through the menu, and it was about 10 minutes before he came to get our order. I got the half sandwich, soup and pie, she wanted cherry pie and was told they were out. Finally settled for banana cream. So, this highly technical order took 15 minutes at minimum before it made its way to the table; a blt, soup and 2 pieces of pie. A friend showed up to meet us, server never came by to see if he wanted anything. Friends hubby stops in, same thing. Oh, while all this was going on,2 orders of cherry pie were delivered to other tables. Remember, we were told they were out. While the food was good, the service left a lot to be desired.

I would love for Perkins to be good. I keep trying it hoping that I was wrong last time. The host is great, he is always friendly and he has been there for a while. It is nice to see him. That is where it ends. The last time we went there it took a while to get our drinks. I ordered sausage and eggs. There was an eggshell on my plate. My kids food was so bad they hardly touched it. Our waitress treated her friends sitting near us much better than she treated us, even loudly saying that their drinks were free. The syrup was totally gross. I could see that they halfway wiped them off but the handle was really sticky. We had dessert and my pie had gotten warm at some time because the whipped cream was spoiled. I hope I dont go there again but there really are no good reasonable restaurants in town that are open after 2:30pm.

Went inside and we ordered a jumbo shrimp meal with mashed potatoes and fruit, as well as an order of salmon with grilled asparagus and a "loaded" baked potato. After about 20m, our meals came and upon opening the boxes, there were 4 shrimp and a pile of potatoes the size of a silver dollar. There was NO fruit, and the shrimp were dry... the salmon was dry, with 3 sticks of asparagus, and the baked potato had nothing on it. After returning to Perkins, we were given our money back by an angry manager. We then went ton a different restaurant and had real portions.

The food when if finally got to our table I ordered ham & eggs. My ham was burnt my eggs where over cooked the few hash browns wouldnt have been enough to fill a little kid more a less a grown man. My lady friend ordered a piece of pie to go, after reminding the guy 3 times the pie and 30 minutes later finally got to our table. High prices real small portions. Ive given them several chances, nothings changed Im pretty sure that I wont be back

The menu provides a choice for everyone. The 55+ menu is the right portion size with good choices. The food is delightful and right the first time. Of course, dessert is the best part of any meal and Perkins pies and other treats will delight! The seating could be a little more comfortable and the tables a little bigger but the overall experience is positive!

Ordered the shrimp and tilapia delicous but very small portion at $11.95 left me hungry for more. My dad ordered the 55 plus tilapia at $9.99 portion size four times the size of mine with 3 filets to my 1 and two sides. Waited took my drink for a refill half way through the meal and never brought it back...

Great food especially for the pice. We all had more than enough to eat and all liked our food. They were a little busy when we visited, but the service was reasonable and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. No complaints from any of us.

This is the typical all purpose dinner. The service here is always good and the restaurant is always clean. Prices are starting to get a little steep but still reasonable. On Sunday mornings, expect to wait.

My wife and I ordered off the senior menu....meatloaf for me and chicken fried steak for her. Both meals were delicious and our waitress, Dawn, was very nice. Great stop for dinner!

Best chicken pot pie, clam chowder, and bakery shop. Recently renovated. Looks better and the food was much better. As usual good, friendly, quick service. Nice family place to eat.
