I started ordering from this place last year sometime and at first it was pretty good . I wish they wouldnt advertise ny style though because a place like this wouldnt last 15 minutes in NY. I only order like ones a month on a Friday usually late nights but it seems regardless of when I call im treated like my call was an inconvenience to the b*tch taking the order . They often dont bring my house mustard and chopsticks that I order every time . The lo mein isnt to bad but the rest of the menu is hit or miss . Look Im a biased opinion I grew up in NY where the Chinese food is better then China , so I dont expect much out here in AZ as I havent been to a "good" Chinese food joint out here outside of a gourmet Scottsdale joint that cost my first born child on top of the arm and leg. I would say if your standards arent to high and youre hungry for something other then pizza or a burger feel free to try this place but dont expect good service or great food you will only be let down . Go into it expecting the order taker to be a rude b*tch, and a 50-50 shot they might mess up your order and 100% probability your gonna eat the food and say " it was ok I kinda like this but I didnt like that " its gonna happen youve been warned . lol

I originally wrote this in Aug 2014 and revising as of Nov 2014. The food still tastes great and lunch prices rock! I am only reviewing their lunch menu which I get 3 orders of 3 times a month. AGAIN it tastes awesome but I took off a star because I have noticed consistently that they are subtracting the "goods". Example, shrimp lo mein used to come with BIG shrimp, now you get the same number of shrimp but little shrimp. Another example, the roast pork lo mein, TASTES GREAT, but theres less and less chunks of pork. Ill continue to keep track and re post. Original post "Awesome prices and Awesome food! I would have rather gotten into a car crash than made it to this restaurant and eaten the food. The beef tasted like slime or algae or something, it couldnt have been meat. The orange chicken was actually vinegar chicken, gross. The food came out on paper plates and bowls, super classy. There was constant yelling in (Im assuming) Chinese from the kitchen. There was also a 2" roach dead under the table... At least it wasnt in my food, I guess. The best part about this place is the door opens easily so you can escape quickly and avoid possible dysentery. I wish I could give it less than one star. If you eat here, may God have mercy on your soul.

Today was my first time eating here and we ordered delivery. It was delivered quickly, the prices were acceptable, but NONE of our food tasted good. We do a lot of Chinese takeout and this is the worst we have had in a long time. The honey chicken didnt taste like honey at all, the hot and sour soup didnt taste hot or sour, and the spring rolls tasted like the frozen ones I tried from the dollar store one time. I would not recommend the food to anyone.

The egg rolls and pot stickers are great at what I consider affordable prices. But, the place is always filthy dirty with one to two children BEHIND THE COUNTER IN THE KITCHEN CASH REGISTER KITCHEN AREA, the parents divided time between yelling at each other, the kids or taking care of customers. They handle the kids, then the food without washing hands. Im done! I threw my last order away before I ate it. Hope authorities take notice.

I ordered delivery and when I phoned in my order the girl on the phone refused to ask if the cream cheese puffs were filled with imitation crab or real crab. She said she cant ask, even when I informed her it was in regard to a food allergy. I received my food, and it was disgusting, and I threw it away. WORST WASTE OF MONEY!

Got there and they had a gun on the counter and was pointed directly at me! We ordered sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken along with egg drop and hot and sour soup. It tastes like they had washed the dishes and poured it into our bowls. We got boxes to go and went to a different Chinese restaurant. NEVER AGAIN!

Worst customer service ever. Beware of delivery! You get shorted half your order. The restaurant will not make right of their mistake. Advertised as NY style chinese restaurant however microwaved top ramen will satisfy your hungry better than this cheap garbage food. Beware of positive reviews this place is AWFUL!

The most bland food Ive ever tasted. Even their hot mustard (packet) was not spicy. The sweet and sour sauce was extremely bland. The chicken fried rice had enough onion in it to kill a taste of anything that might have been good. Just dont bother.

Their cashew chicken is the best Ive been able to find in town so far. I like the combo platter, which is a few bucks cheaper than the full cashew chicken, yet still more food than I can comfortably eat in one sitting. Recommend this place.

Food is mediocre at best very bland had the sesame chicken didnt have very much flavor the fried rice had a weird taste to it and the chicken Lomain was pretty gross you get what you pay for cheap price for cheap food

The food was pretty bland and tasteless. Two of the three people working there seemed to be having an argument when we visited. We had some modest stomach trouble for a couple of days after eating there.

The egg rolls I ordered tasted fine. But very unprofessional setup. Kids playing in kitchen area, mother trying to take orders and watch kids. Dirty restaurant. Health department needs to take a look.

Ive been on a quest for shrimp rolls in mesa for over a decade. I got one of their menu flyers wedged in my fence and behold, they had shrimp rolls..for 1.30 they werent half bad.
