Normal I dont have problem coming to buddyz and getting ONE pizza for the whole family. That was not the case tonight. Tanner the guy on the phone said he could not do our normal order that we get at buddyz. So I needed to talk to everything and call back.. when I called back I got a women who was happy to help! I was just going to get a pizza with meat only and do everything else when we got the pizza home but the lady on the phone let me know that they could do our normal order. 5mins after I put the order in I got a call back from Tanner saying that he had told me we could not do our order. Yes but when the lady on the phone said we could even after I told her that Tanner had said we couldnt she said it wouldnt be a problem! (Which normal isnt a problem). Because of how tanner talked to me over the phone my family and I will not be going back!

When it comes to pizza there are buzz words thrown around to say yours is better than others, but most often thats all they are, words. That is not the case at Buddyz. This is the real deal, genuine, and amazing Chicago style pizza. I have Eaten a lot of pizzas claiming to be "Chicago style" but this is by far the best. The sauce is deliciously simple and the perfect compliment the flakey, buttery crust. If cheese is your thing do not worry, theres plenty to spare, giving you some of the longest and most satisfying "Cheese pull" I have ever seen. All the portions are more than fair for the price and quality is maintained to a high standard throughout. If you consider yourself any kind of pizza lover, drop in and try it out.

I thought Gilberts Sanfratello Pizza was my answer to suburban Illinois/Chicago pizza. I was wrong. Its Buddyz. While never a fan of deep dish pizza, the butter crust was as close to a Lou Malnatis as youll find out here in the desert. And after two years of "pizza" out here I thoroughly enjoyed the thicker crust. The cheese and sausage were excellent. Sauce was okay, just a bit sweeter than I care for. The salad was delicious, would definitely order again. This may honestly be my new weekly pizza place.

The only place in Phoenix for an authentic chicago pizza. Its worth the drive to get to. I did a back to back comparison. I was on business in chicago and ate both pizza uno and pizza duo deep dish pies. Then flew home and had buddyz deep dish. Buddyz was better. They make pizza right. No more of having to make due with wimpy new York style pizza anymore. Yum! And if your ever torn between getting a pizza or a hot Italian sandwich, try the Millennium park pizza. Awesome combination.

The Best Chicago deep dish in Arizona! The thin crust is excellent too. They have 17 specialty pizzas named after Chicago landmarks and Ive made it my mission to try everyone. They also have terrific italian beef sandwiches. Id swear it tastes just like the beef Scalas Meats makes in Chicago. Being from Chicago and living in Phoenix, I really miss the authentic tastes. Buddyz has truly brought Chicago to Arizona. Theres no tastes like home. The only place for real Chicago pizza.

A little out of the way, given that its way south and way east Gilbert, but I would say the drive is worth it for the pizza. I have always been an East coast pizza fan, but Buddyz butter crust pizza was nothing short of amazing. Their largest was a 14-inch, which was enough to feed two grown men with leftovers. Get your pizza order in early as it takes a while. Their craft beer selection is much better than what you might expect from such an out of the way spot.

Maybe the deep dish is much better than the thin crust because I see a lot of positive reviews about the deep dish. We were really disappointed, it seemed like everything we were served was frozen food. Im pretty sure the boneless wings, toasted ravioli, and onion rings were from frozen, the thin crust seemed more like cardboard than pizza crust. Im from Chicago, things arent what they used to be if this is deemed "Chicago style".

Wow. Not your typical pizza! Delicious from the crust to the toppings, sauce, and cheese. Each pie cost a bit more than a regular pizza but thats because its anything but regular. I usually eat about 4 pieces of regular pizza but I can only enjoy 1 slice of Buddyz pizza because there is so much more to 1 slice of Buddyz. This was our first time having this pizza.... and for sure wont be our last time. Instant fans!

I ordered several pizza pies from Buddyz for a party a few weeks ago. And even though it was on a friday and Buddyz was very busy they managed that large order fresh and pipping hot. It was fantastic! Everyone from the oldest to the youngest raved about the pizza and came back for more. Thanks for helping to make Jims 75th a successful party.

Buddyz is definitely the best deep dish pizzeria in the valley that I have tried. We have ordered in and as take out and although it is slightly pricey, the flavor and quality is worth the price. The sauce is rich and the pies are filled to the brim with cheese, which we enjoy! The staff is friendly and they have a decent number of brews.

Family favorite. Their bacon as a pizza topping is absolutely delicious. The sangria is great and the beer selection offers plenty of variety. Friday and Saturday are super busy. Location is pretty tucked away. Our family comes from Mesa when in the mood for pizza. We prefer butter crust to the thin or deep dish.

Really tasty pizza. Great crust. Sauce that actually had some character. And, they sure dont skimp on the cheese! The Millennium Park (with its Italian Beef) is out of this world! 2/2/16 update - actually ate at the restaurant this time. Service is s-s-s-slow..., even though hardly anyone else here.

Wont lie Im normally all about Barros pizza but I went out on a limb and decided to give my wife the night off from cooking and give this place a try. Cost a little more then I really wanted to pay. But the pizza was pretty dang good. Will definitely eat her again and recommend to my family!

Well worth a trip out here. Every pizza Ive had has been great. Weve taken several people out on a Friday night and everyone has loved it. Last time, the tomato/basil thin crust was excellent. I only wish they were open maybe an hour later on Fri/Sat night.

Dont waste your time! I showed up at 6:16 and was told the wait would be 20 minutes. At 7:00 I went back inside and was told sorry and they had no idea how much longer the wait would last. I dont mind waiting but definitely dont like having my time wasted.

We have been to Buddyz twice, once when slow, once when busy. Good service both times. B-I-L worked at an Italian Beef shop back in the day in Chicago and he said the Italian Beef here is very good. Thin crust pizza was cooked perfectly. Will return.
