We tried it again for the 5th or 6th time and all we can say is if you like being around a lot of very drunk off duty cops then Old Pueblo is for you. My husband and I first went to Old Pueblo just over two years ago and a drunk cop was leaning his head on me, my husband said, "hey buddy thats my wife youre leaning on." His reply was, "you looking for a fight, lets take it outside." The Owner was sitting right there and said he can/t do anything because no one was assaulted, but he let his bartender serve him another drink. I know theyre off duty, but still the guy couldnt even walk or see where he was going and they still served him. I always thought the bartender or owner by law had to cut you off when youve had too much to drink. Guess its good to know the local cops. And upon a recent visit, it is still the same today. Oh and if you hear an occassional women scream, thats just the bartender because a cockroach walked across the bar into the back room. Until Native opens in Goodyear, well stick to Tailgaters.

We have been eating at Old Pueblo regularly for the last 10 years. Weve tried just about everything on the menu and have no complaints. They serve fresh chips, salsa/hot sauce and pico de gallo to snack on while you wait for your food. When they arent too busy the food comes from the kitchen very quickly. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. My favorite is the tacos, but I also love the carne asada burrito, Old Pueblo nachos (consider a half order unless youre sharing) and their special Carne-A-Bob-A taco. I would also suggest the Margo-Rita, its huge! There are three great ways to enjoy the restaurant, each with its own atmoshere. Inside of the original restaurant is cozy and quaint, the outside patio offers a relaxed, community dining experience and the newer addition (across the courtyard) is perfect for sitting at the bar and watching the game.

This place has got the poorest service in a bar Ive ever had. Our server was on her phone and talking to customers about some wrap thing that you can loose weight, while we had to wait for her to finish to place and order. Then another server brings our drinks, hell on wheels, short little thing with such a big crap attitude because she had to go out off her way to serve us. We pay good money for less then average food and real crap service, no more and we say stay away, locals call it OP. Oh did I mention Old Pueblo Cafe is also DIRTY with cockroaches that walk between both buildings in the breezeway, then across the bar. Now thats just disgusting, beware of Park Grill next door same owner.

We live just up the street from Old Pueblo Cafe, and eat-in or order-out at least once or twice a week! Sometimes we walk over with friends for a relaxing Sunday lunch, or to enjoy dinner on their patio. The food is exceptionally tasty, spiced just right, fresh and hot. My two favorite things are the Nachos with green chili beef (beans on the side), and the Green Chili Burro (green-enchilada style). My mouth is watering telling you about it...so I will probably be eating dinner there tonight! Oh...and the Margo-rita...yum! That seals it...Im eating there tonight!

Weve been living in the west valley for 3 years and are still looking for good Mexican. This was NOT it. We got the Old Pecos Nachos. You dont put refried beans on chips! They were soggy and tasteless with a few stringy pieces of roast beef. My margarita had almost no alcohol. The patio was dirty, fly ridden and had cheap plastic chairs and tables with a few sad looking flower pots. Music was the worst kind of 14 year old girl pop, Katy Perry etc. Too bad because it is a good location in Old Litchfield. My husband liked his beer. Service was fine.

I feel the need to share... Ive been a bartender here for over 4 years and need to give credit to an amazing restaurant. I know what goes on behind the scenes and this is one of the cleanest and friendliest places to enjoy a great meal. Id like to give a huge thank you to the owner who looks out for us like family, our amazing staff and our customers who treat us like gold! This is by far the best place Ive ever worked and after all these years, still my favorite place to get some great authentic Mexican food!

Love the tacos, we get them every time. Really cant comment on any of the other food, because we cant ever bring ourselves to get anything else. Love the service and Peter was so helpful when we catered a last minute party. Everyone raved. Wish we could have taken more credit for all the wonderful food. One of the best mojitos Ive had, not to mention the Margo-rita. Yum!

This is our go-to Mexican place. Family owned by a real nice group of people. Food is excellent, some of the best in town. Reviews from people that dont like this food, obviously dont know what authentic Mexican food is. Well worth the visit. Awesome patio, in an awesome location in my beautiful home town!

Old Pueblo has incredible food, nice atmosphere and superb service. Low prices on food as well as drinks. A great place to bring family! Large patio for lunch on a sunny day. Live music at least two nights a week, and of course late night Karaoke on Saturdays.... Overall, a pleasant place with good food.

Have eaten here for years and have had them cater several events for us. Delicious Mexican food at a great price! We have out-of-town friends and family that insist on getting their "Old Pueblo Fix" every time they visit. I tried the chicken taco salad for the first time today - wow!

Mexican food for those that think Taco Bell is also Mexican. I ordered a Chile relleno and it was made in such a strange, non traditional way. With the orange-yellow cheese that isnt found in Mexican dishes. It was okay. The atmosphere is nice, the chips were good, the drinks too.

Old Pueblo Cafe was recommended to us. We are vacationing from NE and were looking forward to an authentic meal. The food was wonderful and was able to try something new. The meal was very filling. The waitress was awesome too. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

OK food, typical Mexican American greasy cheesy beany food. The service can be so slow, especially when the restaurant is next to empty, weird. The owner seems indifferent to the success of this place and accepts mediocrity as the standard.

Walked in, didnt seem busy, waited over 20 mins, no one came over too us the entire time; even after asking for service twice. Our party of 6 walked out after another couple said it was the same on the patio

The fresh salsa is terrific. I ordered the goat cheese quesadilla and it was delightful. Its on the appetizer menu, but was more than enough for a full meal. The sangria was delicious, too.
