Went to Westgate with my girlfriend on Valentines Day 2014. Noticed many tables empty but long wait time, I should have guessed a management issue after we were seated some 25 minutes later with half the place empty on Valentines Day. No need for reservations, certainly. We had no silverware and a wandering hostess had to grab some supplies from the kitchen to make new sets, despite seemingly more servers on the floor than the current occupancy of clients, bar included. We ordered drinks which came quickly and then ordered dinner. We were given 4 tiny pieces of bread for the two of us (think Oreo cookie sized) and a feeble attempt to mimic Texas Roadhouses cinnamon sugar butter. That was about our entire experience. Some 20 minutes later a hostess came by and asked if we were all set and if we had seen our server lately. She got us more bread, noting that the biscuits were behind in the kitchen so they only had the corn bread. She asked, preemptively, if we would like to see a manager. I asked why I would need to but said we were all set for the moment. After this we waited another 40 minutes before deciding to leave having not seen our server or another hostess. I very graciously left a 5 behind to cover the soft drinks. As for the quality of their food, who can say? If it matches their kitchen management then the Jack in the Box we had to suffice with on the drive home was probably better anyway. Id skip this one until you see a large sign posted that says Under New Management.

If I could give zero stars I would. The menu is over priced for the quality of the food. And you dont have a lot of options to begin with. Service was ATROCIOUS. Our waitress Misti needs to learn how to split a check and how to work under pressure. They kept us there for 45 minutes after we finished our food just to sort out the checks. Saddle Ranch has a confusing policy about splitting checks and she basically told us we had to be grouped two by two but we could still use different cards? Isnt that just splitting a check? Pretty sure she wasnt supposed to do that and in her attempt to make us happy by breaking the rules, she screwed us. My boyfriend was charged for his food my food and someone elses and was out $30 he didnt intend to spend that night. Misti also left one of my friends debit cards unattended while she ran off in the back for several minutes. And the one thing I wont forget, was when another person in my party tried to take her check Misti slammed her hand down and snapped at her and told her it wasnt ready. It was awkward and rude. When we spoke to the manager he basically told us there wasnt anything he could do because our cards had been charged and it would take a few days for the money to be back in the right spot. This was extremely inconvienent considering we had come that night to drink at Mcfaddens and my boyfriend was now out 30 dollars. Not worth the wait, not worth the hassle. Saddle Ranch needs to change their policies and hire capable servers.

Will try another establishment in the area in future. Several to choose from. Not satisfied with quality or temperature of food or initial service. 1st and only time I ate there. We were a party of 4 with two separate checks. The whole mall area was crowded and long wait lines to get in at all the eateries. But now reason for quality, temperature, or service. A Tuesday evening 5:30pm to 7pm. In line at 5:25 waiting. Requested table at 6:03, paged at 6:15. Table we were sat at; a table that required additional bus-boy cleaning off from previous customers, 3times. Last one cleaning apologized that several of the tables need to be sandblasted to remove the stickiness. The entire Table Top remained sticky. We had to request cutlery and napkins after 1st wave of food was delivered. Poor Service set up. No Cutlery. 4 orders arrived 12 minutes apart, 2 and two. One Burger was ordered medium well and came completely pink inside and not hot at all!. The two orders of Crispy Chicken Strips came luke warm, 12 minutes later. Strips were rubbery and tough to chew. The Burger was not eaten, the meager portion of frys were. We informed the management of the situations. Management took the burger off the check. I am a regular there. I know about a third of the staff by name, and no matter what they always say hi, they remember my name. I dont ask for special treatment, but I feel like I get it there. The bartenders seem like they enjoy conversating with me. When I do order food, its spot on. I forget the name of the steak I typically get, but its great, especially with their mash potatoes. The environment is positive, its fun, and entertaining. i love to watch the girls ride the bull. No where else in town at a place like this can all this happen. I usually like to sit in from of my favorite bartenders Adam or Brandy. They notice when my drink is almost empty and are ready to serve me another. I have always hated waiting for a drink. As someone who is very tall, i am not hard to miss. I never wait here. I have read most of the previous reviews, and I must say that judging the good people who work their butts off here are being mis-judged for being wasted youth, just because they are tattooed, pierced, and smiling. I have had more arguments in my life, altercations, and bad experiences with people who arent tattooed, pierced and so on, versus the ones who are. Live in the now. Tattoos are everywhere. Deal with it. Much love for this place. I love my ice cold Dos Equis with a lime. Good job management and staff. Keep up the good work.

We were in Glendale for a graduation. Decided to go to Westgate to eat. Picked Saddle Ranch because they assured us they could accommodate a party of 15. So they set up two tables, one for 10 and one for 5. The waitress was able to put the tables together after we told her it wouldnt work. Then, they told us that the check could only be split into two separate checks, which we had to contest, since none of us could afford to pay for half a party of 15 nor should we. After we told them wed have to go somewhere else, they changed that rule to 6 different checks. Then the food came out after an hour and a half. I understand it being a large party, but still thought that was rather long, but that wasnt a big deal to me. It was to others in the party though. The food was really good once it got there.The waitress was extremely nice and did a great job and even got us free desert, so if the review was about her, she would have got 4 stars by herself. You could tell it was out of her control. However, after we got back home, I checked my bank account and noticed I had been charged twice and when I called the manager to discuss it, I got no answer so I left a message saying what had happened and I still havent received a call back.
