This is a solid place to get brunch on the weekend in Tuscaloosa on the Black Warrior Riverfront. This location has a friendly staff, a tempting bar in the center of the restaurant, and delicious food in hefty servings. I had brunch recently with a friend at this location. It was quite refreshing to eat with the lovely Black Warrior River on a beautiful sunny day as the backdrop to the restaurants stylish interior. We ordered coffee, the Crabcakes Cavallo (it comes with jumbo lump crab cakes, two poached eggs, infused hollandaise, diced red bell peppers, green onions, and seasoned country potatoes sans the andouille sausage), and the Shrimp n Grits (which comes with shrimp and andouille sausage sauté, spicy low country reduction sauce, sautéed red bell peppers & onions on creamy cheese grits with garlic French bread). Each dish was thoroughly delicious and the serving size was quite large. We had to take the remaining portions in to-go boxes. I definitely look forward to dropping again the next time I make it to Tuscaloosa!

The food was excellent and our waiter was so awesome! However, I am only giving 4 stars due to the wait. The staff said it would be a 30 minute wait. This was fine as it was a Sunday morning and fairly crowded. We gave our number and waited for a notification. It was well over thirty minutes before we got a text. When we got inside the couple that came in after us were not only seated, but had already gotten their food. We looked around, and several people (2 person parties) had been seated that arrived after us. We will definitely go again, but hope to have a better wait time experience.

I frequent the restaurant and always have such a wonderful experience. On this particular day I decided to treat a friend who really needed to get out of her thoughts. And, she had never eaten here (what a wonderful opportunity). I must say, the experience was beyond pleasing! Our waitress Amee Shuttersworth was amazing. The food was undoubtedly spectacular the drinks (she had a mamosa and I had the Spiked Carmel latte) were stiff, refreshing and delicious. This was the perfect backdrop to help my friend free her mind and and regain clarity. Thank you for such an outstanding atmosphere.

Tried to take my daughter and her friends to a very nice breakfast and choose this place and it was Horrible!!!! We sat outside and even though the view was nice it took us 1 1/2 hour to get our food. The server literally forgot to put our order in! Then when we finally got our food it was cold and I had lost my appetite. They were very apologetic and discounted our food but I was still very disappointed. Will not return!!!

Amazing views of the river with great ambiance, very welcoming staff, quickly served very good cup of coffee upon sitting down. Ordered the Floridian omelette with Mediterranean potatoes, highly recommended! Overall 4/5 stars, only negative is price. Figure $15-20/person for breakfast; that is twice as much as most places but your paying for quality food and the great views

Food was fantastic. I loved my burger and the breakfast food everyone else got looked and smelled wonderful. We waited almost an hour to be seated (got in line thru the app, only physically waited the final 20 minutes). Long wait for food to get to the table too. It was a Saturday brunch time, but I was nevertheless disappointed at the speed of service.

Amazing food coupled with a charming balcony view of the Black Warrior River almost made up for the 45 minute wait and the expensive prices. I will definitely go back, because dogs are welcome on the balcony. However, I may limit my visits to near payday and incredibly early in the morning. Bonus: Theres a Pokestop for you to mine while you wait.

Delicious brunch food, though service is not super fast. Ive had both the breakfast and lunch meals, and both are amazing. Usually it isnt too crowded. The staff is friendly, though I often have my drink sitting empty as they can be less than perfectly attentive. Its a great place though, and I definitely recommend.

Nice staff but way too slow, had to wait 30 minutes for two eggs and four slices of bacon. Kitchen staff didnt seem interested or working with a purpose...frequent breaks, eating and drinking in the kitchen while serving food to the public was a no go when I managed a restaurant. They can and have to do better.

I had breakfast here with my Dad the weekend of the Iron bowl. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Even the locals were nice and talkative. The food was delicious but the icing on the cake had to be the best bloody mary Ive ever had. I loved everything about this place and will definitely be back.

Best view of local pond/lake. My server Alisha was amazing, she knew off the top of her head what was in the gluten-free pancakes (she also suggested blueberries which I was unaware was an option). If you want to feel like you are in sweet home Alabama, go to Another Broken Egg and ask for Alisha!

This place is always busy and I know why. Their food is delicious and the atmosphere is lively. Its the breakfast place everyone goes to. I have been to Another Broken Egg multiple times and each time I get something new and its always delicious

They have consistently good food. We have yet to show up and find their third string passing out cold bacon and runny eggs, which is a problem in Tuscaloosa. Get the Nowait and you can bypass the normally long wait time here during peak hours.

The ambiance and decor along with the view are very nice. The food was good but nothing that couldnt be done at home. We enjoyed eating here but the price was more than Im willing to pay for a return visit.

Did the Sunday brunch. It was excellent! Its pretty popular so there was a 30 minute wait. We ate at the bar to avoid the wait. The bartender, Daniel, was great! Definitely go back!

The hours are too limited. But the food is great! STRONGLY suggest calling ahead to be put on the list or using their app! The wait is insane! Shows how good they are though.

Should be called Another Spider In My Egg. Place has issues with them. They just got a health rating of 84. On the bright side, the new Churro French Toast was really good.

I love the omelets here, thats the best thing about this place. Although Im sure they have other good things on the menu, weve really only ordered omelets and beignets.

Another broken egg has some of the worst coffee Ive ever had. The food is expensive, mediocre, and bland. Sometimes the wait is longer than an hour.

The food is fine, though kind of heavy for breakfast. Great open air dining in warm weather. Covered balcony overlooking the Black Warrior.

Very nice breakfast destination on the river! Food was excellent and service was wonderful. Request a seat outside if weather permits.
