Beautiful Building, Outside sitting area well Decorated and landscaped ... so if you are looking for eye candy for a well landscaped and atmosphere you came to the right place ... NOW we are talkign about a restaurant which is to have good service, food, quality, ambiance, and make you feel like you want to come back and eat ther once again because of your awesome experience ... This WAS NOT the CASE! The service was VERY SLOW and impersonal as if they did NOT CARE ! The Music was LOUD, as if you were in a busy mall or an over crowded club! The food was OK! not great by any means, and the prices were WAY OVER PRICED! So just having moved to Dothan, and having tried several restaurants, this would not be the one my family and I would be going back to unless changes are made ... From our experince Rodeo on Southside of Dothan, might not have the greatest looking building outside or atmosphere or fancy decorations or landscape, but the SERVICE at RODEO SouthSide of Dothan by 231 South ... Has AWESOME Prices, SUPER Friendly Staff & Service, and the QUALITY of food is AWESOME! So here is our honest Opinion. Have a Wonderful Day! & Power to the FOODIES! :)

Will NEVER go to this restaurant again! We went there @ 7:45 on Saturday night. There was a 20 minute wait, which we expected. So we went to the bar for a drink but it was full. The bartender said we could take our drinks outside to the benches and wait for our table. Well tell the people working at the front desk! They stopped us like we were walking out without paying! Three males employees stood in front of us as if they were going to start a fight with my husband! We only stayed to wait for our table because my sons were starving and we knew it would take longer to eat if we went somewhere else. After we were seated our waiter came over. Jose, had no personality and wanted to rush us to order. Corrected our pronunciation of everthing we ordered even though my sons had both taken Spanish in high school! Food came fast, it was generic, canned, microwaved food! Paid our bill, no thank yous from waiter or hostess as we left, she was chewing on her fake fingernails! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!

Was expecting this to be a good experience based on the reviews and was greatly disappointed. Most Mexican restaurants serve Queso...even if its listed as cheese dip...its queso...not with La Parilla...its actually bland tasteless melted cheese. At the time I let it slide...it was only with the chips before the meal so I was still holding out hope for the main meal which for me was the steak nachos. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The good...the steak had an excellent taste and was cooked perfectly as well as the sauteed onions...the bad...there was very little of it...most of the dish was a pile of chips with more of that bland melted cheese poured on top. Had to be some of the worst nachos I have ever had. Needless to say, I doubt I will be eating here ever again.

If your going to serve the public. Then you should listen to the order. When you get it wrong you should apologize. Not try to make the customer believe that a taco has nothing on it but meat. I eat Mexican food every week. I have never ordered a taco and only received just meat on it. If one is going to serve this way then they should inform the customer when a taco is ordered. They ruined my Mothers birthday lunch. Because twice the food came out and both times it was very wrong. To be fair the rest of my families order was great. Bad manager bad waiter. Hope you have better luck.

Food was GREAT! Always is, of course! However, we felt a bit rushed to order by our server because she had "several other tables to attend to". She also spoke ill of her fellow teammates, which is something you just dont do to patrons or customers. On the flipside, one hostess was sweet and gave our kiddos balloons. Her smile and kindness seemed very genuine (really wished she had been our server). The place was getting really crowded as we were leaving as it was nearing 530 on a Saturday afternoon, so I suggest that if youre going for dinner, get there shortly after the lunch rush.

Granted, Im not from these parts so i dont know how the cuisine here compares to other Mexican places in the area, but not impressed. The margaritas were some of the worst Ive ever had. Paid 9 bucks for a "premium" Marg, tasted like orange juice. Then opted for the cheaper house Marg, tasted like they used lemon lime soda in it? Barely any alcohol in their drinks. Food was standard Mexican, not horrible. But the worst of all was our waiter was upselling us the whole night, even encouraging my bf to drink and drive in order to sell us more booze. very irritating.

I loved everything about La Parrilla. Our server was polite, prompt, and funny. His suggestions for drinks and food were absolutely on point as both of his suggestions to add Patron to my mango margarita and to get the Ultimate Fajita Nachos instead of the cheaper versions of both, made me very happy. The best Mexican Ive had - hands down! I wish we had a La Parrilla in Mobile, I would be there at least twice a week, as my fave Mexican restaurant in Mobile just burned down. Thanks, and keep up the GREAT work!

It is the most amazing mexican food Ive ever had, and I have been all over the world, we had the the classic tacos steak, and the sopa de res, it was by far even better than my grandmothers sopa. Price is very good because everything is fresh and delicious from their slushy drinks to their fresh guacamole which by the way its prepared right in front of you!!!!! Wonderful experience I would be eating there as much as I can from now on.

Typically busy but generally good service and food. Consistent quality and quantity of food. Short order to table time. Not the best Mexican Ive found in Dothan, but if you have a craving for some Mexican and are in the area its a safe bet. Mixed drinks are overpriced and there are definitely better drinking options in the area. Staff keeps the interior cleaned up well even during busy times.

I have been eating at La Parilla even since it opened and I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences there. The food is always fresh and delicious, the servers are friendly and prompt, and the place itself is nice. The few times I have had to wait , it was never for very long. My favorite restaurant in the Dothan area.

With generous sized portions of fantastic food, friendly staff, and great drinks, this may be the best restaurant in Dothan. The American-styled Mexican food is always a hit with the family, and you never leave hungry. Ive not had a bad meal here--and I find ourselves coming back time and again. Their skirt steak is to die for!

Love the Patron margaritas!!! Love the fajitas! Love the fish tacos! Love the live music! The only thing we dont like is the largely melted cheese based dishes like a quesadilla. The cheese here seems to be more like cheese whiz substance. But everything else is excellente!!!!!! The staff is great!
