Excellent food! Fair prices! Have never had a bad experience. My favorite BBQ spot. Sauce is a masterpiece. Ribs are so tender you can pull them apart with a flimsy plastic fork! And they are huge! Under $10 for 2 HUGE ribs, a fresh side, bread, and a drink? BARGAIN!!! Half a slab, a big side item, bread, feeds 4 people easy, under $20. Try doing that at Jim & Nicks. Truly a hidden gem in Montgomery. Try it for yourself, youll be glad you did!

I didnt even get a chance to make it out there and dont want to now due to the fact that I called to see what time they close and the person who answered the phone said they couldnt hear me with a nasty tone of voice! So now I dont even want to go and give it a chance! Need to get another employee who knows how to talk on the phone to customers!

It was wonderful. Driving through town and picked it out off the computer it was great. Loved the pulled pork. Red Velvet cake to die for. Freindly people. We ended up getting more pork and chicken and slaw to go. I am apt to drive thru Montgomery verse Atlanta just to stop again.

No air conditioning in the dining area. Waited over 30 minutes for two sandwich combos and an order of potato wedges. No explanation given. Pulled chicken, pulled pork, and potato wedges were decent. Mac n cheese seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while.

We wanted bbq on our way back to Atlanta from New Orleans, and we werent disappointed! There was a smoker hitched to a truck out front...a good sign. K&Js was non-pretentious, everyone was very friendly, and the food was great. And conveniently right off the highway.

Excellent smoked flavor. The ribs were flavorful, smoky & tender. The brisket was excellent. The sauce is best Ive ever had - unique, bold without being spicy. Bought jar to take home & suggest you do the same. Just great barbecue!

Fantastic BBQ just off the 65. Friendly service with huge portions - about $9 for the rib dinner with two sides, and the plate felt like it weighed 30 lbs. Dont miss this on your way through Montgomery!
