Im not a coffee drinker. I go with my friends who are and Ill have a hot chocolate. Neither my opinion of their hot chocolate, nor my friends opinions of their coffee really warrant the prices. Their baked goods are really dry -maybe its a wannabe european type of recipe -whatever it is, its not my choice. I LOVE Tomatinos but I do not care for anything in this place -other than the atmosphere and the staff. Its close to my home so thats the only reason we continue to go. Maybe its me, but the baked goods would be better served if they were moist - they just seem to suck all the moisture out of your body. Are they baked for dipping in coffee? Im not sure, but given the price of everything, I think Ill start heading to Starbucks -even if its a couple of miles away.

Forget Tomatinos and Louisas Bakery - Cafe Louisa is the best expression of Missy Mercers little Cloverdale empire, not only because it highlights her giant scones and muffins, but because they respect the coffee. I knew it from the first time I walked in and saw that their iced coffee was cold brewed, not just hot coffee poured over ice. Further observations, such as their use of Atlantas Counter Culture coffee, to the discussions I had with them about the best grind to use for different brewing methods, reiterated this focus on quality. Not to mention its one of maybe two coffeeshops in the city where I can sit down and read a book for a couple hours, or get together with some friends for a leisurely talk. Also, they have gelato.

The Good: Quiet, Counter Culture Coffee Beans, Nice Bakery Selection The Bad: No wifi, Poor Service, Inability to make a Latte 2 Stars?...We sure must have caught them on a bad day as nobody really cared. There isnt any wifi (dont ask either) and the latte was stunningly poor (worst one Ive seen this year). The foam on the latte was so think it could be used for insulation and the taste was more burnt than Starbucks. I left it at the table... I almost feel bad writing this as its so odd to have this kind of experience at a place that serves Counter Culture...The barista didnt know she served CC btw.

I was looking for a sandwich shop and stumbled upon the name Cafe Louisa. It was just a 19 min drive from the AFB base, and easy to find. What I didnt realize was that they had their own bakery on site, and everything would be so fresh. They served a wide variety of sandwiches, and I went with the smoked turkey. I also could not resist the desserts, so I tried the iced lemon pound cake. The sandwich was good, and the dessert was even better. Cafe Louisa is a quaint little shop, great for a quiet lunch or just a quick snack to go.

I stopped because I needed a coffee and hoped to find something good (not just Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts). How glad I was to find them serving Counter Culture! And the cafe was quaint and beautiful, too. Highly recommended! If you love coffee and hate how hard it can be to find anything good sometimes, dont despair. Take the ten minutes to come here and be happy!

Prices are good and service is typically friendly and fast, but seating is limited, no wifi, and coffee could be better, but your best option in Montgomery outside Starbucks. Just make sure you get your purchases to go if you have work to do and arent there for a meeting or conversation. Also, there is a 5$ limit on card usage.

Ive not found a place such as this in all of Montgomery. I had the falafel on wheat and the tiramisu for dessert. Omg! SO GOOD! I also tried the toasted foccacia and even tho Im used to it having more of a rosemary flavor, it was very good as well. Also, tried the blended Irish Cream coffee drink. HEAVEN!!!

Wonderful cafe! Lovely coffee - VERY good on all counts. Theyll do anything for you to make the experience memorable and worthwhile. Gellato is fantastic and the muffins are really good. Thats about all they have (except some great cookies, too), but what they do have is awesome.

I love studying at Cafe Louisa. I always see someone I know whenever I come in. Bagels are nice and crispy. Iced Coffee is rather strong. Just a word of advice, come in with cash if you dont want too much to eat or drink- for purchases less than $5, you have to pay with cash.

Worst muffin ever. Completely sticky on outside, dry and tasteless on the inside. Espresso was eh at best. If youre gonna charge $2.50 for a muffin, please learn how to bake first.

Nice, local coffeeshop with a distinct atmosphere. Fair prices, friendly staff, and good pastries. However I have noticed that my coffee was lukewarm my past few visits.
