I have been ordering food from Shangri-la for years with no problem, no major issues----until today. Half way through my order the person taking it said, "oh, you live too far away, has to be $30.00 or more." I told the person I had gotten delivery from them for years and no one had EVER told me there was a limit, or, that I lived too far away. She said they "recently" changed their rules for delivery. I ordered from them all the time. Dont believe they actually changed anything. I cancelled the order. Then I called back to speak to a manager. This same person told me the manager only came in once a week. I asked if I could speak to anyone else besides her, she said there was nobody else! ? After I got online to write this review, Im glad I didnt order anything because the most common complaint I see is FOOD POISONING!!! I guess Shangri-la just REALLY DOESNT CARE.

This place gave me food poisoning, I should have known the minute I walked in and the smell of rotting fish from the giant fish tank over powered everything in the restaurant. On top of no one being in there except the staff and myself. I had to go to the emergency room from how horribly dehydrated and the intense vomiting I was experiencing leading to a diagnosis of food poisoning which this was the only thing I had eaten . Unless you want to get extremely ill then I suggest not eating here. Food didnt look contaminated but im sure someone back there did not wash their hands when handling other peoples food.

The food at Shangri-La is pretty standard American-style Chinese cuisine, and it benefits from being the only full-service Chinese restaurant in its zip code. However, the take out portions of its signature and most popular dishes are pretty small by comparison, so dont expect two to an entrée unless you are getting appetizers and soup along with it.

Not bad. Husband loves it. The reason for 3 stars is for the egg rolls. I mean you would think for $1.50 each you would get a decent sized egg roll but these things are tiny! I go to other places and they are literally double the size for the same price. They are delicious just needs way more to them.

Lunches are perfect here. They come with a little bowl of sweet and sour or spicy soup, an egg roll and a chicken wing (random, right?). The ingredients used here are higher quality than at most Chinese food restaurants. Dinner gets a little expensive for what it is, so I usually just go for lunch.

This place was my fav for months. The last three times i went they got my order wrong and didnt want to compansate me for the trouble of always having to come back. The staff is rude and they are over priced. Never will i return.

First time trying this place. Steamed dumplings are small and tasted weird. Summer roll was very basic, lettuce, carrots, and a tiny piece of meat. Chicken dish was ok, no sauce. We wont order from here again. Not worth it.

Food poisoning? I didnt order that. Got food I didnt order then was told they wouldnt fix it nor take it off the bill. 2 hours later I made an emergency trip to my doctor with food poisoning. Eat here at your own risk.
