Slow, slow, slow to restock some items I buy weekly, even when I tell the cashier the things I couldnt find. But by far THE WORST PROBLEM is getting home to find lve bought SPOILED FISH !!! This has happened at least 14X in the past year !!! So aggravating, esp. When Im planning on a tasty fish dinner and instead I have to drive all the way to another store, usually Whole Foods, to buy fresh and much more expensive. SMELL before you buy seafood. Citrus is consistently poor quality, so weigh one and eat it before you buy a bag. Also, I notice that more than half the high reviews have no details about why Publix rates 4-5 stars. Padding reviews for an overall high score?

I shop at publix because usually they have the most friendly, helpful staff. I worked at publix for years in college and know this isnt how the company wants their stores to function. Often, cashiers dont speak-at all, even if you do. Ive had a split ticket charged to one card because of cashier was busy arguing with a coworker. If you order sandwiches online, it may or may not be made. Also, they are often completely out of basic items. I cant wait for the new downtown location to open this winter so I will have another option.

Very disappointed in this Publix. I much rather go to Irondale Walmart then here. The quality of customer service is very very low. I have further details about my experience with this location which I have brought it up to a manager before. Obviously with my last visit nothing is changed.

Frequently have just 2 checkout lanes open and of course most of their customers are old ladies with coupons, so I am prepared to wait in a long checkout line most every time. If publix wants to be customer service oriented, they need to open additional lanes.

This location has been very helpful every time Ive been there, the staff frequently asked if I need help if I appear to be looking for something, and administrative staff has always been eager to assist when I have had any sort of issue with a purchase.

Cake was a disaster . Spent almost $60 on and was falling apart. Called and was told to bring back. Cake was clearly not done right and I had no time to bring back. I wont be back.
