Dont be fooled by the "Best Of" signs out front (I just wonder who they had to pay to get those). This place has by far the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten, bar none. We ate there a few years ago and the food was so terrible we vowed to never go back. Recently a relative said they had been there and thought the food had gotten better, so against our better judgment we decided to give them one more try. Arrived around 7:00 P.M on a week night. After sampling most of the items on the buffet, I found only about 10% (seriously) to be palatable. The stuffed mushroom dish was a bizarre concoction with some sort of sausage stuffing, very odd. The seasoned fried flounder looked like it had been crispy at one time, but was put on a steamer table that rendered the texture soggy and rubbery. Most of the food was lacking flavor, overcooked, and much of it was very, very greasy. The chicken teriyaki tasted like plain dry roasted chicken on a stick, virtually no teriyaki flavor at all. The coconut shrimp tasted and smelled "off." The mixed seafood tasted very strong, old, and was saturated with grease. This place is an insult to the Chinese and has no resemblance to any of the wonderful, refined, complex flavors that good Chinese food can bring to the table. To top it all off, once we were done (which didnt take long), our waitress kept hovering around our table waiting for us to pay. Almost like they were afraid we were going to run out without doing so (I can certainly understand why someone might NOT want to pay for this). It ended up costing $28 and some change for two (with one drinking only water and the other hot tea). Frankly it wouldnt be worth it if they paid people to eat there. Will never, ever make this mistake again.

I wish that I could give this place zero stars because it was absolutely horrible. My sister and I went here today and the best thing I had was the water. We mainly came for the crab legs but they barely put any out and they taste like water, the manager told us that they only boil them in water with no seasoning. The lo mein was disgusting and not warm. My sister had stuffed mushrooms and she said they were nasty. The manager told us "we have 100 people come and here and no one tells us our food is nasty" that is very very hard to believe unless all 100 people dont have any taste buds. Seriously everything looked like it had been sitting out for a long time and NOTHING we ate was decent. They have signs outside the building claiming to be "the best" but please dont let that fool you, buffet city is the worst place I have ever eaten in my life and I would not recommend anyone to ever come here.

I go there all the time and I have no clue about what the other reviewers are referring too. Keep in mind, I always go around lunch, and the food always looks fresh and is hot. Like most other buffets, the selection of dishes are place in metal containers which are heated from the bottom. The place is normally busy when I go, and I also routinely see them replacing the entrees with fresher food. I certainly would not classify there food as being anywhere near being "nasty." Im not sure if the other reviewers are reviewing the wrong place, or are being dishonest because I go there all the time and have never shared the same experience....

Ive been here quite a few times but Id have to say this time left a bad impression but because the others were better Ill rate okay. The food itself was good as a whole but for some odd reason my chicken and broccoli tasted like a hot dog. It left and odd taste in my mouth and the salad bar had Nats flying through out it. Im not sure what happened since the last time I was here but I was very disappointed. I will say this is the first time this has ever happened since Ive been here but whos to say it willnt happen again

Be careful here when picking up plates. I picked one up and on the back of it was green gum. I brought this to the owner and she told me that she "can not control what comes in and out of the dishwasher all the time". I find this ridiculous and I should have been offered to have my meal taken off. I ruined my jacket and it made me wonder what else the owner "cant control" in her restaurant.

Sorry people, maybe it was an off night... but this is sub-par American Chinese. Salmon was dry, fried food was over fried, tilapia tasted like dish soap, crab legs were dry. Unfortunately I think the one decent item out was their Mac and cheese... weird. Dont rate this place just off my review, but I believe $12.79 should have been the total price for my wife and I not per person.

You have to remember going in this is a Chinese themed Buffet, nothing fancy or elaborate, just a whole lot of decent Chinese food you can gorge on for what I feel is an appropriate price. Its not the best buffet Ive ever been to, but my favorite buffet has been closed for more than 10 years, and as buffets go you can do a lot worse than this for 11$.

If they dont want people to eat the crabs they pay for they need to take them off the menu. Theres no reason we should have to wait in ten to twenty minute intervals to scramble for some baby crab legs. They are half the size they used to be and most of them are old and rubbery. I will never come back here again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

First time trying this place, the food was good, better then other chinese places Ive had. I would go again. Just be advised, when you get your check they charge 11.5% sales tax. I guess its some sort of gratuity. All they do tho is take your plate and bring you drinks. The staff was nice though. Just thought this might be some helpful information.

Its exactly what i expected. Maybe a little better for midday Saturday... Nothing bad. At Golden corral, almost half of what they offer tastes cheap or funky to me, buffet city only had different or odd stuffed mushrooms and lo mien. Everything else was exactly as i expected. Overly motivated waitresses... Ha ha ha.

Pretty dirty and unprofessional, waiting for a decent amount of time for their renovations to be finished hoping it would be better when i went back, but still just as terrible, however Ive rating this two stars because even though the food may or may not be produced in unsanitary conditions it is still delicious

Best buffet in the area, fresh food on the hot bar. Nice staff. Good, not Great. As for the soundtrack to my meal, unbelievable. Great early 2000s Mongolian pop with a few remastered Japanese hits in the mix. Many of the songs I havent heard in years, incredible job by the guy in charge of music. I will be back.

Cant beat it for the price ($8.50). - 4 hot bars of food (traditional China Buffet entities) - 1 cold bar (salad and desserts) - Mongolian grill (select items and will cook) Overall very happy. Large buffet with a great price. The Mongolian grill was a little overcooked... but I wont take a star off for that.
