Me and my wife went to golden corral for lunch today 5/14/2011. And I wanted to write the review. We went in and there customer service was not that Inviting. We went up there and they took our money and gave us no directions at all. So we didnt know were to get plates, knives and spoons. Plus we didnt no were to sit. We had a server named DEE and see came up and said here is the comment card and left. It took her 15 minutes to get our drinks to us. She wasnt out on the floor with the customers that much. When we needed refills it took here 15 minutes to come out to us and get us the refills. We went up to the salad bar and wanted to get some salad. The salad was empty. There was no one up there behind the salad bar to get assistance. The salad dressing was half way filled and warm. There was a lady that came out and stirred the salad dressing and then she dumped salt into the dressing and said "This is so no-one will get sick". My wife had to go to the restroom. She said it was quiet filthy and had a horrible aroma. The locks on the bathroom were there but not functional. And there were creepers standing out side the doors watching you as you walk in. We went to the ice cream bar at the end of are bad experience. I met a employee named Henry he seemed to be the only employee caring for customer satisfaction. The whip cream was out but he was cleaning up his area and then he filled it. He was always cleaning and friendly. Henry was the only person that greeted me and my wife. As we were leaving I dropped the comment card in the box. The only time Dee could seem to care was when we were filing out the card. She was constantly looking over out shoulder to see what we were writing. Later when I got home I called the store to speak to the manager and Amanda answered the phone. I tried to speak to the manager She said the manager was "to busy to talk to you". So in the end I would not recommend golden corral . For the reason of the poor customer service and food. I would not go to this store any time soon if I was in your shoes. It was $30.00 for two adults. I could have gone to red lobster and got a better deal.

Yes, its a buffet. So dont expect a fine dining experience here lol. But that does NOT mean the food or service is poor. Likes: Great salad bar!!! I get it to go A LOT! Cant beat the price or the fixings! (And can be bought by the pound) LOVE that they offer spinach leaves and not just iceburg or caesar....I always add the grilled chicken to my salads! They have other healthy options other than just salad too. The rotisserie chicken is always delicious as well as the broccoli. Right now for dinner they offer pan seared seafood - and its actually really good. My weakness is definitely the yummy fresh baked rolls and honey butter! Oh, and my favorite has to be the omelette station in the mornings- made to order and always to perfection. My favorite is diced tomotoes, spinach and mushrooms. DISLIKES: definitely the bathrooms!! Go, only if necessary! Outdated and dirty! I imagine the high volume of people that use the facilities explains the mess! But the absolute worst is the doors dont push out and there is no receptacle at the door for the trash - I do my best to toss the paper towel I use to open the door in the waste bin, but dont always make it...hey, its the cost of their poor design!! I usually have a very pleasant server who is attentive. In most environments I assume older more mature people have a better work ethic (and better servers) but that is not the case here. The younger servers are always so sweet!! And attentive! And u really cant beat the price! Believe me! As a mom of 3 I have tried!! My kids like this place cuz everyone can find something they like - and really with the buffet they can try things they otherwise would not.

August 3, 2015 --- I went there last night with my 2 year old daughter and right when you open the front doors you are hit by a terrible odor that smells like a portapotty the carpets were stained and gross. Then you get your drinks and it looks filthy behind that station, the person who even got my drinks was not pleasant at all- we go to our table which was also dirty and sticky.. Get our food which it was about 8 oclock when I went I got white rice , potatoes, corn , and some pot roast (I think) the white rice was so hard I had to spit it out, potatoes were the only thing in that place that tasted good! Corn was two different colors as if they were mixing the good new corn with old and my server (jay) NEVER took my plates or filled up my water so for that I did not tip her considering the only time she talked to me was to say "Im jay if you need anything let me know" ... Every plate I grabbed was soaking wet and was disgusting I wanted to ask for my money back but I had already eaten a tiny portion off my plate. My daughter wanted chicken noodle soup and it tasted so bitter and disgusting! The pot was filthy then we made our way to salad which was all rotten! Then ice cream which tasted like water. This place needs to be shut down it is filthy and not fit to feed people! Im going to keep complaining until someone does something about this place! 15$ for one person is a rip off and I feel cheated of a dinner.

Waitress gets 5 stars Restaurant gets 0 Place is horrendous, but if you do go I highly recommend our waitress Maria. She was very pleasant and quick to get coffee, I informed her of a dirty bathroom and she went right away to fix the issue!!! Never seen any employee take that kind of passion in anyone before, my tables was clean the entire time she was a superb waitress, it surprised me shes not a manager, very friendly and can brighten anyones day, for the negative the food was flipped in front of me, old mashed potatoes on top of New and the same with the gravy which disgusted me. Second the management seems to not have a clue of how to run a restaurant. Ive read multiple complains about the female managers and from what an employee told me most the management is related. Clearly unprofessional and promotes heavy biases in the restaurant. Split up the management the only manager that I recall helping me is no longer there, if this is the direction theyre taking it, either fire the current managers or shut the place down. Forgot to mention all the food guides here are rating 5 stars despite poor descriptions which leads me to think the restaurants managers pay for good reviews which is utterly pathetic.
