I do love me some Blaze Pizzas. I heard about the free pizza on the 19th. What I didnt think about prior to coming here is that I got there when Aliso Niguel school got out about the same time I arrived. So there was a whole sleuth of black shirts lining up for these as well. It was hot the day I went and they had this water cooler that had water that tasted like plastic. That was not the best thing all day here. One of the reasons why I do like coming for the opening free pizzas is not only because it free, but because they actually do take the time and put extra effort in making your pizza is done right on these soft openings. So I got my usual Veg-Out pizza with a twist of bacon and artichokes on Gluten Free. They do ask if Gluten free was a preference or an allergy, so I do assume that they would make it slightly different if it was an allergy. (I.E. only one person touching the crust) The pizza was done quick and it was tasty. The gluten free crust is thin like a cracker. My pizza was tasty and so were the other creations that came out along with my order. The last topping guy always has arugula and I always get that as a topping for my pizza to get it a zing. You should try it too. I actually do prefer Blaze pizza over Pieology when its done right. The only time Ive had it bad at Blaze (not this location) was when I got to a location prior to closing. I feel Blazes dough is thinner and yet chewier (again, when its done right). There would be a slight crispness when you take a bite into it. The toppings would represent itself when you dont put more than 4 of them on the pizza. (Even though you can pretty much put everything on if you like but I find that it would be really soggy if you do) Parking is in a big lot. The feel of this place kind of reminds me of a cafeteria setting. I dont know if it was the squarish layout but this is probably the largest Blaze Ive seen and Ive been to 5 in Orange County. They do have the blood orange lemonade in this location in addition to the regular lemonade. Its quite good, slightly tart and extra sweet. Blaze has expanded quite quickly, few other locations are opening soon in OC including: Main Place Mall Brea-Birch st Area Orange-Glassell Area Newport-Fashion Island Area

This was only my second time at a Blaze pizza, but the experience was unfortunately not as good as my first. I think the problem is that I came during a very busy time and perhaps they were not prepared as evidenced by a long, slow-moving line, supplies like straws, ice and bathroom toiletries not being replaced. The attitude of the guy doing the finishing touches on the pizza was very nice, but the lack of a positive attitude from everyone else was actually noticeable. Just a general poor attitude is the best way I can describe it. I have to say also that after 2 tries with different crusts, I think Im still a Pieology loyalist...it may be my personal preference for the toppings over the noticeable "more" crust that Blaze offers. perhaps if the crust was something amazing at either place, I would appreciate that.

Good place if you are looking for a nice pie of pizza. This isnt the most amazing pizza, but it is quick, it is fresh, and it is made to order right in front of you. It makes if for a fun experience. There is only one size (which helps them with speed of service, which is nice), so prepare a box for yourself if you are a small eater. The store is kept nice, but it is fairly loud if it gets packed. This is a family place and usually will have a lot of kids during rush times. Im all kid friendly, but it is not the place to go if you are wanting a quieter meal. The seating is also not very private. Its a bunch of open tables (no private booths), which is also somewhat of a detractor for me. I like to have a bit more privacy than that, honestly.

Horrible experience. The person who took my order was very slow and that made the entire process go much slower and took up my entire lunch break. I will not be going back to this location. The Mission Viejo Mall location is a lot faster with friendlier staff and the San Clemente location is better than both by far. And my pizza was charred on the bottom. Not a good experience.

Good food but very young crowd (employees) who just dont listen very well and/or just dont care. I saw a big lack of hygiene, and even when I pointed that to manage and he told the young people working there, they just ignored the observations and kept on going as trying to prove they can get away with murder and customers should not even complaint.

Really good pizza - the crust is better than MOD and I liked the quality of their meat toppings but some of their veggies didnt look fresh. Good drink choices made with cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. Price wasnt too high but a little more than MOD. Was very busy (Friday night)and staff was friendly. Overall - would eat here again.

Great food (but takes a while to be prepared when they are busy), staff is great, and restaurant is nice and modern. Love the concept and implementation of this restaurant. They only offer a thin crust pizza which is not normally my favorite so hopefully they will offer a thicker crust in the future even if it takes longer to cook and prepare.

Love creating my own pizza! My favorite combination is spicy marinara sauce, chicken, pineapple, gorgonzola cheese, minced garlic, cilantro, and tons of veggies. You gotta eat the pizza when its fresh out of the oven. The crust is thin and crispy. Super yummy! But if you take it to-go, the crust will become soggy. Great value for $8!

WTF....this place is bullsh*t. Twice I ordered and paid online and ended up waiting longer than the people that were in line when I went to pick up my pizza. They dont put it together until you get there even though you give them your CC on line. Bastards waste my damn time. There are other pizza joints. No more blaze for me.

This place goes all out with toppings. They arent stingy and its all premium quality stuff. Great size eatery. Did you say party of 20, no problem! Theres plenty of seats and everyone gets their own pizza. Reasonable prices at only $8.50 minimum for what I say is a medium sized pizza with 6 slices.

Never have a bad pizza ever again. This is a make it your own style pizza with a ton of options. You can change any sauce you want with an endless amount of toppings. You can do gluten free and a bunch of healthier options. I stick to the usual pizza with thick crust

Pizza is great as always. However, the cashier completely ignores people who order online and keeps ringing up in store customers. Maybe they can learn a bit from Chipotle nextdoor. Chipotle does online orders pickup correctly. Please improve Blaze Pizza!

I loved this place! I know there are a lot of design your own pizza places out now, but this one distinguishes itself. The decor is beautiful. The service is fast. The ingredients are great. My wife and I frequent this location.
