I come from New Jersey to eat at this legendary hamburger joint. Legendary? Yes, I remember when this was one humble hole in the wall that cooked the best burgers in the world. Situated near a bus depot and a police station they always had plenty of foot traffic to keep the product fresh. Theyve maintained their quaity through thick and thin times. I fight the traffic. I suffer the odor of the poultry store on the corner.I cruise until I can find a parking place. I still go here when I want a real good burger uptown.

I just ordered a double cheesburger delux w/ bacon, $11.70?! I call back to ask why $11.70 for fries and a double cheeseburger? (i understood before calling that I ordered bacon, but still) they told me that just 1 extra beef patty cost $3.70, i ordered the single patty delux w/ bacon = $8.40 more or less. In other words, now I know why Mc Donalds $1 menu got them @ #1 (saturated fat in both menus)

This place is very small, just a few seats are available. No restroom and the food while good, it expensive when compared to similar businesses. I had home made potatoes, scrambled eggs, beacon and orange juice, they changed me $12 dollars. I have the same in other places for $8. The staff are nice and friendly.

the food is amazing . the service is excellent ...and i have been there when i was a bit younger and i remember greg working there . i really wish he came back because without him its just a regular hamburger place. If your reading this GREG .. please come back .

Been here and they need to upgrade the store and be more cleaner I found a big nasty fly in my food been year since then.. it aint even the same owners for 30 years ago so the food is like a typical American diner and very pricey at that... my opinion ijs

I went very late at night and they had a "walk-up" window to order from. The food was good. Very small place with few seats at the counter, maybe 7 or 8.
