The reviews for this place are great. My boyfriend insisted we order from here because of how good the reviews were. Well, it turns out these must all be relatives or friends of the owner because nothing that was stated in the reviews seems to be true. food: Bland. We shared a Burrito that costs twice as much as any of the local restaurants. We dont mind paying more because you do get what you pay for most of the time. This time, we got something half as good that cost twice as much. Service: We were at home all day moving things around the house to get ready for a party. At 5:10 pm we decided to order dinner but neither of us wanted to change because we would be back to work as soon as we were done eating. At 6:04 we still hadnt recieved our food and he called. The lady who was working insisted that our order had gone out already but we only live a block away. Why would it take an hour to get us a burrito? After an hour had passed, I went out and bought some food another local place and insisted that he did not pay them or accept their food. At 6:17 the food arrived in our apartment and my boyfriend didnt want to hurt the delivery guys income so he paid them and even tipped him above 20%. He says that the food was cold when he received it. It was ice cold when I arrived 7 minutes later with hot food from their competitor acrossthe street (Tacos El Paisa) and got 2 burritos for the price of Gritos 1 burrito. For the price way paid here, we could have ordered at Refried Beans(on fort washington) which has excellent food and its worth the price. We could have ordered at Tacos Neza, which is of surprisingly high quality for the price. Or the place right across the street "Tacos El Paisa". We live a block away and it took 1 hour and 7 minutes before the guy arrived. Try the other local spots. This place is overrated and overpriced.

This place has become my favorite restaurant in New York City. The food is made with high quality and big proportions for the price in which they are charged. It is best to make sure you can finish your appetizer before committing to the main course. In addition, I really appreciate how this restaurant sets the bar high especially in a location where other eateries are very complacent in their service. Its worth noting that significant portion of their customers are new to Washington Heights/ Inwood neighborhood and is the primary (if not only) restaurant/ bar they would go to in the area. This restaurant does have rush hour in terms of eating in Friday/ Saturday nights. During these times it is best to order and pick up your meal.

Love this place. Great ambiance,service and food. The staff and owerns intract with the customers. Thay always make you feel at home. Love bands and drinks are great too. My favorite one is the "blue devil"(there interpretation of "bulldog". Great choose if your on a budget too.

Great coconut mojito and the tostadas yum! Be sure to order grilled chicken for the tostadas not shredded. Empanadas not good, flautas can pass. Great service. Cute spot but very small. Not good for groups of more than 4.

Order from this place on UberEats. I ordered a shredded pork Burrito they send me ONE shredded pork taco....Im not sure how that got mixed up but one taco is definitely not worth $11 bucks.
